A labyrinth, that's what Hyunjin found himself in when he fell to the ground on his knees with a passed-out Felix in his arms, soft pants of panic rushed out his agape lips as he rose his arm from beneath Felix to wipe away the gushing blood from his nose "F-felix?" he murmured under his breath finding it difficult to even think. what would he do? what could he do?

it was a flood of thoughts yet also a dessert of thoughts, and before fret could run faster in his veins he held the boy in his arms in a princess style and set him down on the motorbike that was parked not too far away from where Felix has lost his consciousness. he sat him down with both his legs on the side and quickly seated himself behind him, letting the comatose boy fall on his chest with his head just below his chin

Hyunjin sighed, licking his lips as he kick-started the motorbike fixating the blond on his chest better so he won't fall off as he towered over him and raced to any hospital he could spot first

____

panic banging itself against the walls of Hyunjin's heart made nausea rose in his throat, pacing around in the hallways of the nearest hospital he could find right now he let his worries engulf him, eating him alive from inside and out. his brows were locked creating many lines in the middle of his forehead, it was obvious his mind was crumbling apart and his heart was beating far too fast for him to comprehend with

he didn't know what happened, why Felix fainted and had a nosebleed but he assumes it must be the stress the stupid dinner brought and he blamed himself for it

waiting for the doctor to come out of the emergency room made him further anxious but he knew better, he knew how to compose himself. so he put that energy into striding around the hallways with the quickest steps he's ever taken, his knuckles pressed flat against his lips as he bit on the skin of his hand to hold back the fear that was taking over his senses

what has he become? not even a month ago he was the coldest boy you could ever lay eyes upon, so careless it was infuriating. being so stuck up in his own little world that he created he managed to not show a single emotion yet here he was, completely sprawled off of himself in the abyss of Lee Felix

he couldn't contain any emotion, any worry, anything -- even himself, it was baffling yet so fascinating. how could one boy manage to knock down every wall he's created around himself?

time clicked faster than water drips down a broken faucet yet to Hyunjin it seemed that it was completely still not moving at all and it made him want to pull out his hair, he just wanted to know how Felix was. that was all, just to know how his  Felix was

"Are you the guardian of Lee Felix?" a female voice brought Hyunjin out of his horror-land as he gazed at the woman in front of him, standing with a white clipboard in her hands as she wrote something down on it and then raised his eyes to look at Hyunjin again "Yes" he replied, voice hoarse and tired "you need to fill this form, once you're done I'll walk you to the reception and you can pay the bill and fill out the rest of the forms" Hyunjin nodded at her statements as he held onto the paper she gave him alongside the pen

once done, he handed her back the paper and stood up starting to walk with her down the hallway "is...is he okay? can I meet him?" he questioned pushing his cold hands inside his jean's pockets, nervously licking his lips as he stared at the milk-white tiles beneath his black shoes and watched how they came and went, "for the time being, yes he's okay. and no you can't" he hummed at the reply, relieved that Felix was okay

"What happened to him?" he questioned turning to her as they now stood before the counter, he waited for her to finish speaking with the boy behind the reception "we can't say anything right now, there are still ongoing tests. you can collect further information from the doctor" she politely answered sliding the form over to his side as he sighed at her reply
