the sun beaming through the clouds was now ready to say goodbye, it has been a good while since the two decided the park to be their destination. "the sun's setting" felix spoke to the boy sitting on his side staring away into nothing, he turned to look at felix then shifted his gaze towards the sky witnessing the sun falling low

"do you have somewhere to be?" hyunjin quietly questioned "not that I can think of" felix uttered in the same tone, they had been sitting in this park for what seemed like an hour sharing a few comments here and there. "do you want to stay a little longer?" hyunjin turned his eyes towards felix once again "I do, but..." felix looked down on the grass

"but?" hyunjin persisted "I'm just confused" felix chuckled nervously afraid he might come off as annoying or weird "about?" hyunjin asked his tone appeared to be calm and soft "nothing" after much silence felix looked up and answered with the simplest sentence you could offer to dodge a conversation

"let me inside you, I want to hear your thoughts felix" hyunjin sounded sincere and it feared felix, it feared him to imagine that that tone might make his knees buckle, he was well aware he was a sucker of sweet talks and warm tones. and that is exactly how hyunjin sounded right now "I um...I'm just not understanding why you're willing to spend your time with me when I don't necessarily have anything to offer, well nothing good" felix explained sticking his eyes to the grass he was playing with, too afraid to look up

"do you not like yourself?" felix looked up surprised to hear hyunjin's words "huh?" he voiced out "I've noticed a pattern, you keep questioning why, why, why. just why we're here together and at first I thought I was the problem, I thought you didn't like me or being here but it's actually you...you don't like yourself so you just assumed no one else does" oh that was scary, having hyunjin state exactly what he felt was scary

and all felix could do to that was stare at hyunjin with his lips parted and eyes boring deep into the latter's, 'how could he have known? how could he had known me so well when he really doesn't know me at all'  Felix's heart began to beat loud and his fear was visible on his face which threw hyunjin off he hadn't meant to come off as intimidating or disrespectful but he could still see how felix felt embarrassed

"you don't have to think that way when you're with me...just how I don't despise the entire universe when I'm with you" felix chuckled at hyunjin's words which made hyunjin's lips curl up into the smallest smiles "you're very different from when we first met" felix spoke smiling as he stared into hyunjin's eyes, his' warm and hyunjin's cold yet they didn't collide "how so?" hyunjin asked

"you're not rude anymore...and you engage in conversations" hyunjin licked his lips "I always come off as cold and that is always my intention...so I guess I succeeded" Felix furrowed his brows "why?" "so nobody approaches me" felix nodded "but I somehow always end up with you" felix chuckled softly "although I can fight the circumstances and leave but it's almost as if my strings are being pulled towards you"

felix listened to hyunjin quietly and then spoke up "I'm glad you didn't fight it" hyunjin stared at felix before speaking "whatever" as he stood up from the grass dusted his clothes and began to walk away making felix confused "let's go" hyunjin spoke, the boy followed his lead finding it hard to catch up with his long legs that walked so fast

"hyunjin" felix spoke but he failed to stay by hyunjin's side who was walking pretty fastly, "hyunjin" felix asked hyunjin this time grabbing his arm in the process "yes?" he replied "can you walk a little slower" they were now walking side by side "no, you walk too slow" hyunjin replied and felix was well aware of the reason he walked so slow, well he didn't want to end up on the ground by walking faster than his body can take it
