𝟓𝟕 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬; 𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐱

𝟭𝟱; 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲

𝟓𝟑 

chilly wind rushed past the two boys as they strolled in the unknown street walking hand in hand with their sweet delights in their free hands "hyunjin look!" the pale skin boy shouted as he retrieved his hand from hyunjin's tight grip causing panic to rush over the taller male as he quickly glanced at felix to know what was happening he held out his hand to grab felix but the boy was already out of his reach 

running towards a puppy that was wandering on the streets, hyunjin sighed as he watched felix crouch down and pet the adorable fluffy animal. he walked towards felix and stared at the two cute beings who shared love with each other despite knowing each other for mere seconds "oh you're so adorable" felix cooed bopping his nose with the dog's nose 

a soft smile casted itself upon hyunjin lips as he stared at felix with clear adoration in his eyes "do you want some" felix questioned the puppy who kept barking and wagging his tail while jumping around adorably, felix giggled pushing his ice cream in front of the dog's face who licked it in happiness "you do realize he shouldn't eat that right?" hyunjin butted in crouching down beside felix 

"it's only a little bit" felix replied keeping his eyes glued to the animal "now you're gonna eat the same ice cream and get rabies, smart move lixie" hyunjin sassed eating his own ice cream that was almost near its end, the entire sentence went unheard by felix as his ears were fixated on the nickname making his stomach turn and twist 

soon his consciousness picked up on hyunjin's words as he sighed "I don't want to eat it anyway" hearing that sentence hyunjin stopped chewing on his cone "you didn't like it? you could've just-" "I have a toothache silly" hyunjin shut up feeling stupid felix turned to glance at the slightly flushed male who finished his ice cream and was now staring at the dog 

a soft chuckle left his lips as he dropped the ice cream on the floor for the dog to eat and turned to stare at hyunjin who noticed the change in the latter's demeanor, felix stretched out his hand to pat hyunjin's on the head as the older turned to stare at him with wide eyes "what are you doing?" hyunjin asked oblivious to the affection the brunette was offering him 

felix smiled brightly retrieving his hand as he stared at hyunjin "you're adorable" hyunjin stayed silent at the comment trying to figure out what the storm inside of him indicated "I am not a puppy, do not ever call me that" he replied in a monotone but it was obvious there was some part in him that enjoyed Felix's affection  

felix giggled following hyunjin who got up and stood straight beginning to walk again "sure thing" felix replied as he turned to stare at the puppy who had taken the ice cream in his mouth and left to god knows where, felix made a quick run to keep up with hyunjin's long legs as he now finally walked beside him arms brushing ever so occasionally 

he glanced at hyunjin who seemed to be oddly quiet then down at his lonely hand, he smiled a little before carding his smaller hand into his larger one making hyunjin glance at him but he didn't refuse, trying to push away the secret smile that kept pressing to be shown on his beautiful lips as he bit it back and stared ahead of him

𝟓𝟐

it was the next day and hyunjin had yet again found himself reminiscing on past moments that were spent with felix, after a lot of thinking and replaying each and every little thing felix does in his head for the entire night he has noticed a pattern, a pattern of feelings he feels whenever felix is near. and only when felix is near 

he is yet to determine the other emotions but this one he knows well peace. he has always felt calm and peace surrounding him whenever felix is near and it always had been this phenomenal feeling of not having any limits, now in his dictionary it sounds like rubbish. but he likes it, this rubbish -- he likes it  

so basing his decisions on that spark he decided to try, to give life a teeny tiny try. and his first approach to it was to do the assignment that has been shoved down his throat recently, he sighed getting up from his chair as he walked towards his study table and unzipped his bag taking out a notebook from it 

the very same notebook on which Riya had written her number now he wasn't too thrilled about this idea and he even dropped the thought of it once or twice but he still wanted to keep going, who knows what comes out of this. he read the number off of the notebook dialing it as he put the phone on his ear hearing the line go on 'this is stupid why am I even doing this' he wondered to himself, and before he could back out and hang up. she answered

"Hello?" she spoke, voice as pretty as a dandelion flying in the wind "it's hyunjin" the boy replied making the line on the other side go silent "h-hyunjin?" she questioned again almost as if she didn't believe the godly boy himself has contacted her "yes hyunjin, do you have listening problems?" he rolled his eyes at her in annoyance 

"oh no no, um I was just, uh confused" she chuckled "so what's up...what's why'd you uh call me?" her constant stuttering and stammering was getting on hyunjin's nerves but he pushed it away "the assignment, I'll do it" and the line fell silent again "oh" was all she murmured sounding disappointed "what? is it too late?" hyunjin asked oblivious to her emotions 

"no no, we can still do it we have some time" she replied and hyunjin hummed "so um let's meet up, you can choose the place and text me and I'll meet you there or do you want to come to my place. like we can do-" her blabbering was cut off by hyunjin abruptly hanging up on her. he stared at the screen before sending her the address of the place he wanted to meet at before shoving his phone in his pocket and throwing on his jacket

"hmm someone's jolly today" felix heard someone speak from behind him as he rested his elbows on the counter, he turned his head to glance at his friend who winked at him "what? I'm always like this" he chuckled as he looked away from her "yea right, tell me who is it. I know this smile" she queried further walking up to stand behind him following his actions and resting her elbows on the countertop 

"what? no! no, nothing like that" Felix chuckled once again "what no!" she mocked him as he continued to laugh louder "okay fine, don't tell me if you don't want to" she spoke sighing as he stared at her "seriously, I swear there's nobody. who would I be smiling about?" he glanced at her as she nodded humming a romantic melody as she walked away from him staring at the ceiling, leaving a slightly flushed felix behind 

'am I jolly today? I'm always jolly, nothing surprising' felix thought to himself as he bit his lower lip, a memory from last night erupting in his wandering thoughts made his smile deeper as he inhaled a deep sigh he shook his head standing up straight before exhaling, "your hands are different, they fit well" he scoffed at his own self as he shook his head once again, only this time he did it pretty aggressively "get out get out" he chanted, he was a fool to be behaving this way but he couldn't help it 

suddenly the bell rang indicating another customer has came, he looked up getting ready to get on his job but his face lit up as soon as his eyes landed on a familiar raven head his brain just couldn't stop thinking about, he was almost glad that hyunjin came as he smiled softly. it was getting pretty lonely not having anyone to talk to or hang out with ever since jisung left 

but he was glad to now have hyunjin's company, his once sweet smile fell when he noticed a girl following from behind him as they walked to a table near the door and sat down at it 'who's she?'
