I didn't take this story seriously like I usually do, it's a fun one amd it probably makes zero sense :)

"Yeah, yeah. I'm going now, okay?" You sighed heavily, stalling by fumbling with your keys, "I'm at my door..., I'm opening my door..., I'm stepping inside—"

"Y/n. Shut up. You don't need to narrate every second of your life, I just needed to know you were safe." Marc hissed, already pissed off with your shenanigans, "This is serious, okay? You could die."

"Way to make her feel safe as a rabbit, Marc. Really out done yourself this time."

"Shut up!"

You mocked him quietly, knowing that he could still possibly hear you. Marc has been your friend for two years now, since your first visit to England. At first, you were very, very confused. Marc had a split personality, Steven Grant. He had a England accent (or British ion even know) and knew everything about everything. Basically the better version of Marc. Then, you got dragged in with his Egyptian God thing, then with some weird guy named Arthur, and basically you were now a target for whatever evil was coming for you. You weren't surprised honestly, especially when you found out Marc was Moon knight, because you lived with a mystery yourself. The James Barnes. Aka, the Winter Soldier.

When you first started dating your fellow Avenger, Marc didn't like it. At all. He'd tell you to stay away from him, if he ever hurt you he'd drive him so far underground, and blah blah blah. But, you didn't listen, of course. You stayed with Bucky, now in a good two year relationship. Marc however, doesn't know this, and he'd kill you if he ever found out, which is also why you'd make excuses on why he can't safely take you home.

"I'm home now, 'kay? I promise on my mom's house key I'm fine." You muttered, not honestly being for real.

"Okay. I'll belive it when I see it." Marc mumbled, suddenly becoming more quiet than before, "Yeah...when I see it..."

You furrowed your brows, closing your door behind you, "Marc..what does that mean?"

"What I said." He simply replied, proceeding to hang up the phone.

Quickly, you drew the phone from your ear and looked at the red screen, "Marc? Marc, shit!"

Panicking, you kicked off your shoes, quickly pet your cat who was on the couch, and set off to find Bucky. After a few minutes of calling his name, he finally answered. When you found him, you had to stop yourself from audibly "aw-ing." He was standing in the middle of your art room, face air brushed with some paint, most of the paint all over his T-shirt and sweatpants, and the most adorable innocent looking face you've ever seen. Shaking yourself out of your trance, you cleared your throat and started explaining your honest to God complicated life.

"Okay. Hi babe, um, one, whatever your painting decided to paint you first. Second, I have this friend and his name is Marc but he has this split personality thing going on and his name is Steven and he's that one vigilante Moon knight, right? So in the beginning we were friends, and we still are..for like three years now. Anyways, he didn't want me to date you at first and I decided to fake agree but clearly I kept dating you and he dosent know that I still am so he's coming over to make sure that I'm safe from some weird Egyptian trance or something and I don't know what to do about this whole thing so I need help!" You gasped, sucking in all the air you could.

It was silent for minute, you could see Bucky trying to process what the fuck you just said.

"..What?"

Your heart almost melted. The softest, most confused, and sincere 'what' your ears have ever listened too. He was stuck, literally. The paint brush only one push away from the canvas, the plate he had that held different colors was so stiff it didn't make sense, while the rest of his body was also stiff as a tree.
