   Chapter 14, Welcome To The World
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    " I may not be the perfect sister, but I'll be here for you until I die. "
    ~ Scarlett's POV ~
        It's a Friday night, I'm stuck on my history homework and nobody is answering their calls.
   It's been five days since the incident and I've been doing a lite better, I'm still getting headaches but I've been eating and only working out with Javon and Jaden.
     Since nobody wanted to pick up my call, I decided that I wouldn't want to do my homework until someone calls.
   So I laid down on my bed and scrolled through TikTok, I wasn't about to break my mind on any type of homework.
    Anyways, I decided to put my phone to charge and that I would take a nice nap since I was exhausted from the whole day.
   Turns out, my dad called the school about the bullying thing which may or may not have resulted in Meredith and Kat getting expelled from the school.
     Then my dad called Layla's parents, which resulted in her getting her phone taken away and not being allowed to act until she finishes school.
   I was pretty glad that, that happened but I also managed to feel bad at the same time although I knew I shouldn't be feeling that.
    I turned my TV on and skipped through the channels when all of a sudden I heard a scream, I jolted out of bed and quickly sprinted out of my room.
   As I walked downstairs, I had socks on by the way, I stepped in something wet.
   "Call your father, my water broke!"
  Alana shouted in agony, I looked down and gagged before taking my socks off and leaving them beside the water.
   I ran upstairs and grabbed my phone, speed dialing my father and rushing him to get home now.
   "She has a to-go bag in our closet, I need you to go inside of there grab it."
   My father requested but you see, I don't like digging through adults closet because whatever is in there is not worth seeing.
   Trust me, I've been through and done that.
   "No way! I don't need to see anything!"
   I refused as I grabbed my own to-go bag from my closet, tossing my laptop, laptop charger, phone charger, airpods, airpods charger and some other thing.
   Before my father had the chance to yell at me, I ran to his room and grabbed the bag without looking inside of the closet.
   "Relax, I got the bag. Should I just drive her to the hospital?!"
   Now the realization sank in, I was panicking.
My father said I should do that and that we would meet up at the hospital.
  I grabbed both bags and ran downstairs, I left the house and placed the bags in the backseat before running back inside and grabbing my mom's hand.
   "God!"
       Alana shouted, I felt bad because her contractions were seriously dragging her to hell at this point and I couldn't do anything about it.
  I opened the door and placed her inside, putting her seatbelt on.
    I ran to the driver's side and then put my seatbelt on, I checked the rear view mirror and just like that, I'm speeding down the empty streets.
   Of course not too fast that it could cause a crash nor could it cause the police to chase after me, when I arrived to the hospital, I used the emergency drive.
      I got out and walked over to the door, I opened the passengers door and helped my mom out of the car.
   After a moment of her getting out, she screamed louder and that's when I knew there was no minute to lose.
