Author's Words

The concept of a young sheltered boy living in the busiest streets of Manila began when my family and I used to visit some distant relatives in one of the city's busiest districts. I remember being in middle school at that time.
The house was situated in a crowded neighborhood and where a lot of kids get to run around in the nearby streets. It took me quite a while to finally continue "The Case of The Red Bubble" now that I have a solid idea for what it's supposed to be - a futuristic vision of the Philippines becoming the next expat destination.

When they announced the 2022 Wattys event, I knew this was the right opportunity to write more chapters. I learned to be a lot more productive and manage my busy schedule. I mostly work on my phone in case I don't feel like using my laptop. As someone who happens to be working on another novel and struggle with creator's block, I make sure to accomplish something every second until the deadline.
