The trial was televised as Milo and his friends sat together behind the desk where Mr. Lang and Tio Hector are seated.
Since they were all underaged, they had to be accompanied by their parents. Kaira had Malik and their parents tag along. This has got to be one of the most demanding events for most of them.
As for Leo, he prayed with all his might that the charges against his uncle be dropped. He saw how keen Mr. Lang is through examining the case.
It felt like hours for Mr. and Mrs. Juegos continue deflecting the stuff which Leo has said about them. Their act finally slipped once Mr. Lang threw in a trick question."Has your brother, Hector, committed any crimes or exhibited bad behavior in the past? At least, towards you or any family member ... " the attorney questioned.
"He's a bad influence, attorney! He even encourages our son to turn against us! My wife and I always kept an eye on him, just in case," Mr. Juegos claimed.
This is where everything comes in full circle. "What do you mean 'kept an eye on him,' Mr. Juegos?" Mr. Lang raised a skeptical brow at him.
