Chapter V: The Witness

The rider was flung over and landed against the back of the Juegos family's vehicle. The motorcycle laid just a few inches away from Milo.
A circle of crowds gathered at the scene, already blinding you with flashes from their phones. The dome above brought in dense rain.

"Milo!" Leo and the others all went to check on their friend.

"¡Oye! Vuelve aquí, tú! (Hey! Get back here, you!) " Mr. Juegos demanded.

Then, Mrs. Juegos got off the van to join him in berating the rider. They threatened to sue him for, ehm, "property damage."
"Some kind of customers you are," he steadily rose from the ground and took off his helmet, "Were you trying to kill him?"

"M-M-Malik?!" Kaira and the others were in utter disbelief.

"Wait, 'customers'?" Mrs. Juegos asked while constantly looking back and forth between Malik and the kids.
She then started laughing while waving her hand up and down. "Ohohoho! This is all a simple misunderstanding. You see, the boy tried to hurt us a while ago and ... " she was suddenly cut off by the young man.
Malik knew this was a lie. He walked over to this motorcycle and handed their orders to them. He next turns to Milo, picks him up from the ground and dusts his shirt.

"You're not gonna die on me, bodyguard."

"Ugh! We ain't got time for this. Let's go, everyone!" Mrs. Juegos called out to Leo and the gang.
As Milo was about to follow, she quickly halted him and said how dangerous he turned out to be. She just kicked him out of the group.
Kaira immediately turned down the ride and led everybody else to take the bus instead, leaving Tammy to tearfully beg them to get back in the van.

"See 'ya kids later!" Malik smiled at his sister. He then props up his motorcycle and speeds off.
