Chapter V: The Witness

For some reason, the dome has allowed in more rain to help water people's plants. It was unseasonably warm this evening.
Milo leaned back over his chair and stared at the wall. The stress brought by the week-long homework is hurting his head. Now, everyone he knows is worried about their friend Leo. He scans over his studying tablet until he hears a PING!

Jin had left him a text message.

Jin:
Hey bud!
You wanna go to the comic book convention at PolyMall on Saturday? ^w^"

Leo is gonna be there because his sister begged him to take her there.

Milo:
Really? So happy to hear that (except for Tammy).

Jin:
Haha! BTW if u need help with the algebra homework, I can send my notes.

Milo:
ありがとうございます
Thanks, Jin!

An hour later, Milo fell back on his bed and let out a sigh of relief. He slowly opened his eyes until he heard someone enter the room. He caught a whiff of his mom's fresh ramen.

"Your Aunt Glenda called and told me that she plans to speak with the supposed criminal at the Trese City Jail this weekend," Gladys announced.

"I just hope she helps out Tio Hector, too! All of this is just one big misunderstanding," Milo quickly bounced off his bed. He is curious about what this George guy did.
