It was now 1:25 and you both got invited out to the Arcade by Dustin joined with Max and Mike.

"Yes...Yes, yes come onnnn" Dustin said concentrating on the game he was playing that we all huddled over. Eddie was leaning against the games machine beside you, glancing at you every so often but you didn't say anything. "Shoot...shoot him!" Mike shouted at Dustin and the game, then "Noooooo! SHIT" They both said in unison "Boys" Max said rolling her eyes and shaking her head, you both shared a laugh then she went back to the game she was playing.

"Hey guys..." Said a voice behind you, it was Steve, with Robin. You knew them both but didn't hang out often as they both worked at the Family Video.

Steve looked over at Eddie "...Eddie" Steve said nodding at him "Steve." Eddie replied laying his arm over your shoulder pulling you over to him slightly. There's kind of always been some tension between the pair, but your not quite sure what. Steve gave you a wave and smile, and you returned them and said hi to Robin.
"Do you guys want to join us for some food...!?" Dustin offered gesturing at himself, Mike,Max You and Eddie Max gave Robin pleading eyes as to "say save me from these nerds" "Sure I could eat!" Robin smiled. You all got a table together at the fast food diner inside the arcade. Awhile had past with you all talking catching up
"Are you two...a thing?" Steve asked you as he ate fries, gesturing you and Eddie

"Oh, no. We're not" You replied laughing a little nervously, fiddling with my milk- shake straw. You felt Eddie's hand grip yours from under the table, you looked over at him picking at his food. "You just seem really close, that's all, like close as in people dating close." He added, getting a stare from Robin and the other guys "...what?"
He mumbles looking at them. Eddie leaned back and put his arm over you again, his fingers draping over your shoulder slightly brushing it. "So what if we are, is that a problem, Steve?"

He asked narrowing his eyes slightly at Steve. Why would Eddie say that...? It was random as fuck you thought to yourself. Steve shook his head no before looking down at his fries.
Dustin coughed purposely to try defuse the tention before making small talk about something, you couldn't make out what because you was zoning out again, your ears went quiet and so did the background noise coming from the arcade, you thought about what Eddie had said to Steve replaying "So what if we are" Over in your head.
