After battling the Japanese for a while now the American forces that where at the front line was starting to cripple and loose more and more men. While the American task force that was sent as reinforcements to aid the American front was already near, unfortunately for the assisting forces a small Japanese scouting force that engaged the Americans on sight.
Colonel Wright's POV
Charge men! Destroy those who stand between us and our brothers! Don't loose hope! I am always with you and so is the almighty!

By the time the Japanese scouting force is obliterated, the Americans sustained the following casualties:

Alright men just take the dead and the wounded back to camp. The rest to the front lines!

After the encounter, the American task force was back on the move to join the weakened force and after a while the assisting task force has joined the main attack group at the front line.
America's POV
Hey! Wright! What took you so long?
Colonel Wright's POV
Sorry sir! We got ambushed by a couple of Japs!
America's POV
The good thing is you guys are safe! Now let's save our trapped boys!
Narrator's POV
As the fight continued the Americans slowly regained foot hold of the Western Front. But not so long ago the Filipinos where already inside the camp slaughtering the Japanese as one. Philippine navy eating the Japs and the Philippine Air Force and Army where freeing the prisoners while the others where dumbfounded of the Navy's ability to devour the dead just like bread.
