I don't know where I am going.

San took my hand and just started running to who knows where.

We were just out of the park and were right in front of a convenience store.

San stops in front of it and catches his breath.

"Hey... Wanna get some slushies?" He asks between breaths.

I grin.

"Of course, who would I be if I didn't want one?"

He hasn't let go of my hand yet.

I'm dying.

He pulls me into the store and goes straight to the Slushie machine.

"What flavor?" He asks standing right in front of the machine as he looks over to me.

I look at the flavors.

Hmm...

"Blueberry!" I say.

He nods and walks toward the machine and just makes me a cup.

WITH ONE HAND!

He still has my hand in his.

He makes me an XL and then makes a strawberry one for himself.

He then drags me to the energy drink section.

"Choose two." He commands.

I looked at him with confusion for a second before just picking Berry Ball Blast.

"Hmm, good choice." He then takes me over to the counter and starts to pay for it.

"Hey, I can pay for my share." I shake his arm for his attention.

He looks over to me and shakes his head.

"You're right, we need snacks. We'll be right back sir." And then proceeds to lead me to the candy section.

"Since we are doing the red and blue theme... how's the sour and sweet berry gummies sound?"

"San, let me pay for something! I can pay!" I protest.

"I'll take that as a yes." He then drags me back to the counter.

"San!"

He just ignores me.

"San!"

Nothing.

He is about to pull out his wallet.

I can't let him win.

I have to pull the "card."

"Sannie..."

He stops.

"Eh?"

"Sannie, let me pay for my half, please?"

He just stares at me.

Did it not work?

He just keeps staring... it went for so long that I thought time stopped... until the cashier asked if we were paying or not.

He snaps out of it and shakes his head.

"Yes, Sir. Sorry." He hands him the cash and I shake his arm.

"Sannie! I could have-"

He puts his finger to my lips to shush me.

"Just think of this as paying back for all the shit I've done. And for the yeosang snack thing." He shrugs after pulling his hand back.
