                    "Because all I can take
                                is no more."

Jade fought her way through the huge amount of patients and staff in the hospital, getting severely claustrophobic with how close they all were. She caught sight of Scott, Derek and Max on the other side of the corridor, the three of them struggling to get out of the elevator also due to the crowds. Huh. It turned out teleporting into a cupboard and then spending three minutes trying to find out what floor you were on, didn't give you much of a time advantage.

She pushed past people, rambling out quick apologies as she finally got to an exit. She was seriously sure the world was out to get her when she realised she was on the opposite side of where she needed to be.

Panting, she finally reached the front of the hospital, looking at the few people that were lying on the floor. They had been electrocuted, that much was clear with the puddles of water that were spilling about. It was as if she was stuck to the spot, a slideshow of familiar memories flicking through her head. She snapped out of it when she realised how rapidly the water was spreading towards her.

Throwing herself to the side, she winced when her head made contact with the ground. Well, she immediately regretted that. Groaning, she sat up, noticing a brunette beside her that was watching the scene in front of them.

"Are you okay?" Jade asked, her tone fully transformed to concern. She helped Allison to her feet, looking around for the boys she had been with a few moments ago.

Spotting Scott, Max and Derek standing a metre away from her, she quickly rushed towards them. When she finally realised what they were looking at, she furrowed her brows. Kira was holding the electrical wire that had fell off the top of the roof. She put her hand over the sparks, her eyes glowing a bright orange. Well, she was definitely a thunder kitsune.

Screaming and panicked talking came from behind them, people from the hospital after finding their way out. The supernaturals cast shared worried glances with each other, wondering how on earth they were meant to explain this.

"Scott, he's not breathing!" Derek yelled, causing the three of them to nearly give themselves whiplash. They hadn't even noticed him slipping away from the group, to tend to an electrocuted Isaac. They hadn't even realised Isaac had been electrocuted either! Some friends they were.

"We need to get him inside," Max ordered, dropping to his knees to try and find a pulse and ignoring the fact that his jeans were now soaked. Scott scooped Isaac into his arms, the others having to practically run to keep up with him. Jade already knew what Max had been hinting at, mentally preparing herself for having to take air and transfer it into Isaac.

Last time she'd tried that, she'd passed out. That might have had more to do with the fact she was trying to keep four of them invisible at the same time, though. Even though she was a lot more powerful now than at the rave that time, her hand was still burnt from the spell she'd done the other day with Scott. It had healed immensely, but some of her skin was still red.

"Work your magic, Sabrina," Max closed the door to the hospital room they'd taken over and pulled down the blind so no one would be able to see in. Although it wasn't exactly the best circumstances, he was actually kind of intrigued to see what this would look like. The last time Jade had done the spell, it had been on him, so he didn't get to watch it.

Scott stood back from the hospital bed, running a hand through his hair, while the other hand went to cover his mouth. Quickly pulling out his phone, he texted his mom the room number that they were in, hoping she would be able to help if Jade's plan didn't work.
