☆~Chapter 24~☆

After Chifuyu asked for help, he told me to meet him today. I couldn't sleep at all last night. Wearing my jacket hurriedly, I ran as fast as I could while holding my phone. A blonde boy was standing from a distance "Sorry, I overslept." I pant.

I raise my head to look at the boy and I see another blonde. Chifuyu and.... "Hanagaki?" Chifuyu turned his head to the boy and then looked at me. Takemichi's eyes widened "Y/n-san!?" Chifuyu was confused. "You two know eachother?" He asked. You bet we do. We watched you get beaten up by Kei. I sighed "S-sort of...?" We did have interactions, from the gang. Like carrying an almost dead blonde who got stabbed, getting taken to a suspicious gang's hideout and carrying a blonde who lost consciousness from getting beaten up by his friend.

Anyways, I stood up "Are you going to tell me now?" Chifuyu shook his head. I'm itching to know. Just tell me. Damn it. I couldn't sleep last night thinking what was Kei planing. He suddenly quit Toman and told me he'd kill Mikey.

"Follow me." He said. Chifuyu looked serious. We walked for a few minutes. Then, Chifuyu stopped. I looked at the shop infront of us. How is this shop connected to Kei... I have my doubts. Chifuyu licked his dry lips before talking, "We're here." Hanagaki and I looked around "A shop...?" Asked, Hanagaki. Chifuyu approached a man sitting infront of a table "Uhm...is there a guy named Osanai working here?" The old man raised his eyebrows before exhaling

"HEY YOU GOT VISITORS!!" He yelled and pointed at Osanai. Osanai? But why. Kei didn't even meet Osanai. He wasn't even there when we fought with Moebius.

We walked towards Osanai. Osanai raised his eyebrows then frowned "Who the hell?" Hanagaki's eyes widened from the sight of Osanai. Chifuyu kept a serious expression "We would like to hear about Kisaki." Chifuyu spoke. My eyes widened from hearing the name. Kisaki? The new third division captain? "W-wait Chifuyu." I pulled Chifuyu away. He had a questioning look "Kisaki? Why Osanai? Chifuyu, y-you have to tell me something!" I whisper-yelled.

Chifuyu released my grip on his shoulders "Y/n-san, we're here to investigate about Baji-san. I know it doesn't make sense right now but Kisaki is our only lead!" Chifuyu responded with a desperate tone. I felt embarrassed. I just walked towards Osanai "Sorry, I lose control when it comes to Kei these days..." With an apologetic tone, I spoke. "Please, Osanai-san." I begged Osanai. He siged.

"I beat up anyone I didn't like. No body could stand against me. Before I knew it, I was alone. That's when Kisaki approached me." The three of us exchanged looks after hearing Kisaki's name

"Weird as it sounds, when I did whatever Kisaki told me everything went smoothly. In just a year I went from some punk who was only good at fighting to the guy who's incharge of Shinjuku." Osanai told us without making eyecontact. He looked uneasy. "So you became Moebius' leader because of Kisaki?" I ask.

"Yeah, can't make a gang if winning fights is the only thing you got going for you." Osanai replied to my question. Chifuyu frowned "So Kisaki was your Confidant?" He asked."I was nothing but a stepping stone to Kisaki. I learned that during the battle of 8/3." 8/3. The festival, when Ryu was stabbed. I gulp. Kisaki... he was involved? My heart started beating fast. Chifuyu was right.

Hanagaki sweat dropped, he gulped before asking "You mean when Draken-kun got stabbed?" Osanai looked at Hanagaki and looked down "That fight was already arranged by Kisaki in the first place.." I clenched my palm. I had no words to speak, I was just surprised. "...Kisaki drove Pah-chin into a corner creating a reason for Toman's infighting and Kisaki made it all my fault. And after I got stabbed he approached Mikey saying he didn't like how I did things.

Then, He said he'd get Pah-chin pardoned to carry Mikey's favor." I flinch from hearing Mikey's name. So that argument Mikey and Ryu had was because of that. The reason Mikey was confident of bailing Pah out of prison was from the help of Kisaki.

"Why would Kisaki go to all that trouble?" Chifuyu asked "Kisaki's plan on the battle of 8/3 was to you use the fighting to get Draken killed and take his place as Toman's second in hand." My eyes widened. I look at Hanagaki who looked like he saw a ghost, not that I'm any better. I got cold sweat. Ryuiji was meant to die at the festival, if it weren't for Hanagaki who helped me carry him. He would've died. Ryuiji, would've died.

"Kisaki left me behind but now he's got a new weapon. His latest destructive force is Shuji Hanma." Chifuyu jumped "Huh? Isn't that Valhalla's acting leader!?" Me and Hanagaki looked at eachother. The guy we saw at the hideout. Osanai replied, "Yeah".

"If you've known so much, then why haven't you dealt with Kisaki yet? After he used and abandoned you like that." Osanai's eyes widened. He shifted his gaze at the floor and covered his face "If it was someone who's only good at fighting or someone who's a little bit crafty, I'd be dealing with them. But Kisaki is worse than I can explain." I felt uneasy seeing a guy who beat up hundreds of delinquents shake in fear just by a thirteen year old.

"He's the kinda guy who can make plans to kill his people without getting his hands dirty. If I mess with him, there's no telling what could happen...anyway I don't want nothin more to do with that guy." Osanai shook in fear.

It all connects. It makes sense now. At first I thought I was only overthinking it. The strange incidents, they were all caused by Kisaki. A thirteen year old? Not to mention the look on Osanai's face when he talked about him. Just what are we dealing with? How can a thirteen year old do all of this?

"Now we know one thing" Chifuyu spoke snapping me back to reality "Huh?" Hanagaki looked at him "Valhalla's leader. The mysterious gang with no leader. Otherwise known as the headless angel. The leader no one knows about that's Tetta Kisaki." Chifuyu confidently announced.

"Kisaki's in Toman right now that's why Valhalla doesn't have a leader." Chifuyu explained "That makes sense." Hanagaki's eyes widened as he agreed to the blonde.

My head was filled with thoughts while processing all of the information I gathered. Kei, is he planning to stop Kisaki? But why would he join Valhalla? "Kisaki... It was all Kisaki's plan." My eyes widened, wider than before.

My heart started beating rapidly. Sweat started to form in my forehead. "This conflict..I can't say why but someone's pulling the strings behind all this" Hanagaki's words echoed inside my head.

I looked at him. How did he know? Who is this guy? The conflict of Moebius, the incident during the accident he was there. He knew what to do. Hanagaki did. "Hanagaki. Remember what you said during the confli-" "I'm sorry, Y/n-san, Chifuyu. I have somewhere to go." He dashed and disappeared. "Chifuyu."

"Hm?" He turned to look at me. "We have to be careful. We don't know who are we dealing with." I tell him. It's better to not get Kisaki's attention, we should work in secret. We mustn't provoke him. "Kisaki... he's bad news." Chifuyu flinched. He relaxed his tensed up shoulders and hummed "Yes." He nodded.

We should take this more seriously. A thirteen year old who managed to make plans to destroy our gang and is not afraid to kill just for his plans to work, is definitely bad news.
