"Please help me bring down this, I have to carry other parcels as well" I gestured on the suitcase. I wondered if when does Genie plan to give the ones we bought together but decided to let her decide.

"Oh, I thought of what do you need me for unnie, you made me nervous" he laughed.

"But what's in here? You aren't planning to leave are you? My sister didn't do anything to make you flee?" he asked.

"What? No no no, those are presents" I winked at him.

"Ohh, I'm relieved" he smiled and grabbed the handle.

I retrieved the individually wrapped packages from the drawer and we went out. Just as we are about to descend the stairs, Genie came up with a worried look. When she saw me and her brother carrying a suitcase, she looked like she's about to cry. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Genie? What's the matter?" I asked.

"What.. why..." she looked at me then at the suitcase then back at me.

Suddenly, her brother started to laugh hard to the point where he sat down on the stairs.

"Yah, sis, what did you do to unnie? She's asking me to drop her at the airport right now" he made his voice serious and horror displayed in Genie's eyes.

"What! Chaeng what! No... W...." in shock, she cannot form a word. What surprised me is a pool forming in her eyes. I decided to play with them.

"Yeah, I feel like I'm intruding and is pulling you away from your family when in fact you should be spending most of your time with them" I replied seriously.

"Ryle, leave the suitcase there and go back down, we need to talk" she instructed her brother.

"Oh, but I already booked her ticket, her flight is in 8 hours actually so we have to rush out" he refused. I feel like bursting into laughter because of how good her brother is at acting. But it was her who burst into tears.

"Roseanne, I'm sorry okay, and you're not, please stay, I will refund the ticket, please" she begged.

I can't take this anymore so I looked at Ryle who burst into laughter again. He literally drop himself on the floor and curled himself while laughing hard. I grinned as well, doing a good work in holding on my laughter.

"What are you laughing for!" she yelled at her brother who ignored her and just continued laughing.

"Baby look at me" I instructed her and she did.

"Do I look like I'm wearing an airport outfit? Look at what I'm holding, are these normally brought when you're on your way to the airport? And Ryle has started laughing in the first place, you should have deducted that we are just playing around" I explained.

She glared at me then took a deep breath. Surprisingly, she closed the distance between us and hugged me.

"Please don't do that again" she whispered in Korean.

"I won't, I'm sorry, but I love your reaction" I grinned. Have I not been holding fragile packages, I would have dropped it all and hug her back.

"But what is that?" she pointed at the suitcase.

"When are you planning to give our presents? I'm planning to give mine tonight" I gestured at the boxes I'm cradling.

"You bought them individual presents?" she asked surprised and I nodded.

"You didn't have to" she refuted but what can she do? I already have them.

"Ryle, while you're at it, can you also take the other suitcase in my room then?" she asked her brother who answered by leaving us to get it.
