Make it Right

C H A P T E R 1 5

"Hey, have you already unpacked your things?" Brian asked Risa as the latter gather up all her equipment. She had just finished her performance and it was another spectacular night for the audience. Her fans also doubled up after the night she sang the song she wrote for Fion and Lilian.

"Nah. My things are still there, in my condo unit" Risa answered and checked her phone. She made sure to keep it with her at all times after she saw how disappointed Maeve when she said that her phone is at Brian's mercy. Plus, she need to checked it from time to time to know if Maeve is already there. After all, the latter promised that she'll prepare dinner for the both of them.

"Why is that? Didn't you said this morning that you'll stop by your condo unit to pack your things?" Annie said, popping out from the blue.

"Well, yeah. But things got out of hand. Maeve was there when I entered my room and she said she'll prepare dinner for us tonigh, which reminds me to tell you guys that I won't be sleeping here tonight." Risa explained, checking if there's anything she left behind.

"What!? But it's your turn to play and bath Leo tonight" Annie whined, which the two of them find cute. Yes, though Fion and Lilian are there they still convince the couple to let the three of them bath Leo too. They even did rock, paper, scissors to determine the line up.

"Don't worry. I'll take care of my son tonight" Lilian said, assuring the three of them which earned a thank you from Risa.

"So, see you guys tomorrow?" Risa asked, earning a synchronous 'see you, take care' and a group hug.

"Please tell me you still have feelings for Risa. I don't want her to end up with that walking red flag" Annie whispered at Brian after she saw that Risa is already out of sight. This earned a low chuckle from Brian.

"My feelings for Risa had already died long time ago. I have nothing but pure friendship for her so please don't ever do things that will jeopardize it. And you still don't know the girl, maybe there's some reason behind her actions." Brian said which earned a frown from Annie. Lilian had already went to the house to take care of Leo.

"Oh, please. I know enough to know that she doesn't deserve Risa's love" Annie complained and walk away, which earned a slow shake of the head from Brian.

After an hour of travel, Risa opened her condo unit and had been welcomed by a tight hug from the certain brunette. She reciprocated it which made the latter relax from her hold.

"You're here" Maeve said, holding Risa and sniff Risa's scent more. It's addicting as what her mind says.

"You said you'll prepare dinner for the both of us" Risa replied, caressing the brunette's hair.

"And that I did. Go take a quick shower while I prepare the table" Maeve said, showing her big gummy smile. She can't explain why she's so happy but she is and she feel like her day is now complete just by knowing that the morena is with her.

"Mhm, so delicious" Risa moaned as she taste the buttered shrimp that Maeve has prepared for the both of them. This earned a blush from the latter and drink her water to cool herself down. For some reason, she feels so hot despite the aircon being turned on.

"My foods are always delicious" Maeve decided to reply. Risa just chuckle and quickly nod saying it's true.

"I see you packed your things. Are you going somewhere?" Maeve asked, remembering the luggage, bags and boxes that are placed from Risa's room. The latter just give a nod which earned a frown from Maeve. She didn't understand why the Maeve is going somewhere, but she decided to wait for her best friend to explain further.

"I'm moving in at Brian's." Risa said and before Maeve could complain Risa beat her to it.

"The group just got reunited. Brian, Fion, Annie and Me. Brian also had a lot of rooms in his house so we agreed to all live together so it will be easier to check on each other"

Maeve didn't like one bit of it. She don't know why, but hearing the names Brian, Fion and Annie is like getting some threat from a stranger. She didn't voice out her thoughts though. She want this night to be great for the both of them, the least thing she want is for them to fight.

"Where is it?" Maeve asked instead. It's important for her to know where she could find her best friend in case she wants to see her.

"At downtown street. 2nd floor of Casancho's building. The first floor would be Leviosa cafe" Risa said in detail. She know her best friend would want the complete detail so she  decided not to leave anything behind.

Maeve remained silent as she memorized the place where her best friend would be moving in.

"So, what you want to do?" Risa asked after she washed the dishes. Maeve would have done it if she didn't insist, saying that the latter already cooked for the two of them.

The question earned a wide smile from Maeve as she have already the best plan for tonight.

"Movies and Ice cream" Maeve replied enthusiastically which Risa found so cute. Yup, after the bar incident, she's still hopelessly in love with the girl in front of her.

The two decided to watch Encanto since Risa is so fond of musical these days and Maeve want to focus on Risa's wants. She's really keen on making it up with her best friend.

"I have two tickets for the amusement park and it's an all ride ticket. Would you like to go with me?" Maeve asked, lifting her face up to look at Risa since she was resting her head on the latter's shoulder. They had just finished singing along with Mirabel for the final song and are now watching the credentials.

"I would love to" Risa replied, caressing the bruntte's hair. It was a good thing that she didn't have to perform at the cafe tomorrow.

"That's good to hear" Maeve silently said as she hug Risa and rest her head on the latter's chest.

'It's still beating so loud' her mind says as she hear the loud thumping of Risa's heart. She don't know why, but it made her feel so happy and relieved at the same time. And from then on, Maeve decided that it would be her favorite sound.
