Its been a month since the incident and to say that Risa has changed is an understatement. Her friends were all worried about her, even Avery and Celina. The girlfriends didn't even have a fight these days and Avery wants to thank Risa for the advice, but when she enter the house one morning it was all so silent and the time Risa had come out from her room, they never really knew where the real Risa went. It was a new Risa that they've seen. With an eyes cold as an ice and voice that seems to be robotic. Fion had also apologized for what he have said and done, but Risa just said to not bother and just forget what happened. This made Leo cry and Lilian disappointed. And ever since that incident they never really see Risa smile just for once.
Risa also stop singing at the Leviosa café and was now focusing on her studies. She look for other job lines that would keep herself busy. She no longer talk nor play with Leo, up till this day, she still blamed herself for what happened and even though Leo always say he's fine, Risa's still afraid it might happen again.
What Risa didn't know is that her actions made the little boy feel sad and hurt leading to him crying almost every night. None of his parents nor his Godparents knew about this. For Leo, crying is a weakness and he refused to be seen as weak again.
On the other side, Maeve have make up a lot of plans to apologize to her best friend, but Risa was too tired to even answer any of her calls and messages. At some point, Risa had blocked her number and even if Maeve got a new number Risa still blocked it.
"I'm moving out" Risa said in the middle of breakfast, causing the other to stop eating.
"You're joking, right?" Annie asked, hoping that her friend was just telling them a not so funny joke.
"No, I'm not. I want to explore other places and think about some things. I just need to breath, I think." Risa said truthfully, earning a nod from all of them.
"Where do you wanna go then?" Fion curiously asked not knowing whether his question will be answered. Ever since the incident, he feels like he's always walking on thread when he's talking to Risa, but the latter is too numb to even care anymore.
"I actually don't know. Do you guys have any suggestions?" Risa asked, looking at her friends who's now thinking of an idea
"How about Cali? I heard from other people that it's nice to go there" Lilian said and continue to feed Leo who didn't even bother to take a bite. He's too sad to eat.
"Didn't you say back then that you want to go to Canada? Alberta could be nice" said, Fion
"If she's going to Canada she should go to Quebec, it's nice in there" said, Brian which earned a disapproving look from Annie and Brian could only answer 'what?'
"Quebec is full of French people, Brian!" Annie complained
"And so? Risa is fluent in French. I don't see a problem here"
"French people are mean!" Annie complained once again that made Risa let out a quiet chuckle but is enough for them to hear. Nevertheless they don't want to ruin the moment and Brian was so eager to defend Annie's statement.
"They're not mean, Annie. They're honest! They just don't sugar coat everything. Places are now full of crap, and being honest to someone would really help the world become better"
Risa laugh when she saw how Annie just rolled her eyes to Brian. After all, Risa is the only one who knew that French people and Annie just don't go really well. The laugh made the squad smile and even Leo who didn't want to eat has now started eating. He realized that if moving out is the only thing that could make her Ma happy then he's willing to support her.
"But if you're moving out, how about college?" Lilian asked which made Risa gave a genuine smile.
"I've told them what happened and that I want to take some breath. They decided to gave me an advance examination and then I'm free to go. I'll graduate, but I won't be attending the ceremony" Risa answered and though they want to go against her, they really can't. The woman had already made her decision and they respect that.
"Well, is there something you want to do before moving out?" Fion asked
"Actually, there is. I got an invitation from Delvis University, they want me to perform and I like to bring you guys along. I mean perform with you guys for one last time before I move out. We could form a band?" Risa asked suggestively, only to earn a frown from them.
Its not like they don't want to perform with her, but Delvis University just rang a bell and its a bell they don't really like. After all, it's where Maeve attends her college.
"I thought you no longer want to perform?" Brian asked which made the three nod
"Relax guys, I know what you're thinking but don't worry, I'll be fine. And you're right, I no longer want to perform, but I'll be moving out and Delvis University invited me because most of the students studying there became my fans. I just want to offer them one last performance before I go. Which reminds me, Brian, could you please tell my fans that I'll also be performing in the cafe one last time. I just want to give my fans a proper good bye."
Brian still didn't like the idea but he promised to his self that he'll support her no matter what so he gave her a nod as a response.
"That settles then, I'll play the bass" said, Fion
"I'll play the piano" followed by Annie
"And I'll play the drums, as always" Brian said which made the rest of them laugh at his funny expression. Brian and drums don't go too well, but he still loves playing it and he's a good one at that.
