C H A P T E R 3 4

"Risa please" Maeve cries as she yanks the Morena's arms, letting the latter face her. 

Risa can't help but feel her heart get broken at the sight of the brunette. With puffy eyes and muffled voice, the woman in front of her looks so worn out. The brunette held her hand so tight as she gets closer. Risa wipes the tears that falls, cupping the brunette's face

"Evey" Risa calls only to earn a hiccup and a head shake from the latter. Risa starts to worry, her once best friend seems to be broken 

"P-please, l-let m-me f-fix e-everything. D-don't l-leave m-me a-again p-please" Maeve said in between her cries 

"Risa, finally find you! Why did you leave?" A good looking woman said from behind them. 

Maeve starts to panic once again as Risa starts to loosen her arms from Maeve. She can't help but let her mind think of different things as she looks between Risa and the good looking woman.

"P-please d-don't" Is what Maeve said before she sees black

"Evey! Evey! Evey, wake up!" Risa panics as she sees her best friend suddenly fall to the ground

"Yvonne, help me please" Risa said to the good looking woman. Yvonne only lets out a sigh as she hears Risa's voice cracks. 

"You better explain everything to me, Risa!" Yvonne whisper shouted after she's done treating the brunette. Luckily Annie, Leo and Fion was also there so they were able to put Maeve at her room.

"Can you just tell me first how is she? Why did she suddenly lose consciousness?" Risa asked in a worried tone, panic starts to enter once again. Yvonne just let out a heavy sigh before saying what she needs to say. 

"She's fine. It looks like she's in a lot of stress that's why she suddenly lose her conscious. It also shows in my findings that she lacks so much sleep. She needs rest. That's all she needs"

"Thank God!" Risa said as she lets out a heavy sigh before sitting in one of the love seat inside the room

"Now well you tell me what's happening here!? Last time I checked you told me to take a break from being a doctor and book a flight here then you went inside a cafe only for you to went outside with a girl who suddenly lose her conscious and now we're suddenly in this house filled with anonymous people. Seriously! What's happening, Risa?" 

"We're not anonymous people!" Leo barge in to the room with a scorn look in his face

"Hey, baby boss. I can't believe you're a grown up now." Risa said as she stands up and engulf Leo in a hug 

"Please, I'm still 11 years old, Ma. Far from being a teenager. But I like the sound of being a grown up" 

"Oh, please don't grow too fast"

"And now you have a son! Risa! Explain, right now!" Yvonne whisper shouted, emphasizing the last words with her hands pointing to the ground. This is actually not what she have expected from their negotiation.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry. This place is owned by one of my bestfriends. All of my best friends live here now" 

"That doesn't explain why I saw you with a girl who suddenly lose her conscious."

"There's too much to explain, Yvonne. But she's Maeve, and this guy right here is Leo. They're the people I have been telling you about"

Realization hits Yvonne as she nods and give the Morena a knowing smirk. So, you're the girl whom she dedicated her last song to. Of course! I should have realized it when she talks about the girl being a Swiftie.
