I rushed into the Hospital as I headed to the receptionist "The name please?" She asked as I tried take my breath. I need to go there for Lucas before he goes in for the surgery.

"Lucas Kingsley. Where's his room?" I asked abruptly. "It's two hundred - twenty five." She smiled softly. "Thank you." I replied breathlessly as I ran into the corridors untill I finally found it. Two hundred twenty five.

I stopped infront of the room, I'll see Lucas. After what had happened, will he accept it. Or will he ask me to go home? I don't know I'm confused and nervous. I took a deep breath as I knocked the door slowly.

"Come in." Every's voice appeared, hold it in. I opened the door slowly as I got inside locking it behind me. "Hey," I spoke Lucas shot his head up in surprise.

"Penny," he breathed, almost like a whisper. Thank god. "Lucas," I whispered, walking to him hastily as I hugged him tightly. "You came." he said in disbelief and happiness, making butterflies fly in my stomach, his hands Hesistanly placed on my back. "I can't leave you in such a day." I spoke softly, both of us pulling back.

"I-I'm sorry for last time i-t was my fault I should've-" he stuttered and I cut him off, my hands placed ln his shoulders gently. "It's okay, we don't have to talk about this now." I tugged gently on his shoulder before I grabbed his hands in mine as I looked at him.

Lucas pulled me in his arms as I hugged him tightly. his arms wrapped around my waist as he buried his face into my shoulder. "we're ready." The nurse said from behind us as I heard a man clearing his throats with some footsteps in the background. "Luc you ready?" The doctor asked. "Yeah, but Kayden, could you do me a favor?" Lucas spoke softly as I stroked his hands.

"Can Penny be in there? I mean I'll be mostly awake so.." he trailed off, his hands moved to the side of my waist as I stood. The doctor smiled "sure, we'll get her as one of the hospital's crew. And you, you're lucky to have this man." He spoke pointing at me with a smile. I smiled at him. he got out as Lucas sighed. "You'll be okay," Every said hugging him, he nodded.

"Let's go." He said as we got up. "Mum, dad stay here okay?" Lucas spoke. "Are you sure Lucas you don't want any help?" Every asked again. "Yes I am, don't worry. Penny's here." He replied with a soft smile. Every went hugging him tightly, her eyes pooling with tears. he hugged her back, patting her back gently as he let go. "Take care," his dad spoke, and for the first time, I could see a flicker of worry in his eyes. He was worried about Lucas. "Take care." He mumbled clearing his throat. "I will." Lucas replied. I grabbed his hand as we headed out.

"Stop singing Kayden, I guess you already know why." Luc groaned making us all chuckle. "Yes, I'm trying to ruin your ear so I could fix it again, pretty mind right?" Kayden spoke while grabbing another tool.
I couldn't see Luc's eyes with the small curtain they added, I could only see his body as I stroked my hand up his arm. my thumb tracing over the back of his hand. wearing these weird stuff they put on for me so there wouldn't be any infection. All of us wearing face masks.
