T w e n t y - N i n e ~ Ava & Kevin

The doorbell rang loudly, causing me to wake up. I opened my eyes and rubbed them. Penny was still asleep in my arms.

I placed her next to me cautiously and got up. walking downstairs as I opened. It was Kevin. "Hey," he spoke, I nodded sleepily at him. "Your hair's a nest," he noted, penny likes it that way.

"I just woke up. I'll go wake her. And you, sit here untill I come. And I know what you're thinking. No, there's no Ice cream in the freezer." I spoke, knowing what he was thinking and what he'd do.

I got upstairs and found Penny in the bathroom already taking a shower. I changed to another shirt and combed my hair so it would look normal. Penny got out in a shirt of mine that reached below her knees.

"Do you have shorts?" She asked, I opened the drawer and got out a pair Black shorts and handed it to her. she combed her hair slickly backward since it was wet. Looking gorgeous as always.

we both headed down and sat, Penny & Kevin kept bickering around as usual and I went to get some water. After that the doorbell rang. It was Ava & Logan this time.

"Just in time," I replied as I opened the door. "Always on time." Logan replied with a smile as he hugged me, I hugged him back and hugged Ava.

They got in as Penny greeted them with hugs. Kevin sat awkwardly looking at them with doe eyes, looking like a lost puppy.

"This is Kevin, my best friend." Penny introduced. "I thought he was a girl." Ava replied with a straight face, causing us to giggle as Kevin's cheeks flushed lookin' up at her. He looked like a shy dangerous cat.

"Shit Penny what did you tell her?" Kevin asked embarrassingly covering his face. he looked so funny to be honest, I never saw him so embarrassed.

"I just told her I have a nice annoying bestfriend, but I didn't mention is it a boy or girl." Penny giggled at him, causing Ava to chuckle as she messed up his hair.

"okay everyone, let's go make dinner." I spoke, Ava clapped excitedly. we all washed our hands and got ready.

"okay, now Logan & Ava will prepare the salad. Lucas will prepare the sauce and I'll make the spaghetti." Penny explained. "What about me?" Kevin asked. "Prepare the salad with them, its sauce and everything." She replied as we started.

I started making the red sauce and stirring it, Penny stood next to me stirring the Pasta. Our shoulders brushing against each other. Kevin played us some songs while we cooked.

After I & Penny finished, we turned watching Logan & Ava. They sat on the counter's chairs as they cut the vegetables. There eyes focusing so much with small pouts on their face.

I shared a look with penny as she smiled "Kevin," she whispered to my side. I looked at him, he was stealing some cucumber from the one he's cutting.

"Cucumber thief." Penny's shook her head with a smile, causing Logan & Ava to look at him and laugh. we heard then Ava wince, she hurt herself with the knife.

Well, I'm leaving Logan for that, romantic moments.

"You okay?" Penny asked, taking a step forward. I grabbed her shoulder and pushed her back. she looked up at me curiously as Logan walked with Ava to the sink and checked her finger.

"Romantic moments," I mumbled, she understood and nodded. she looked up at me with a sly smile.

"Why didn't we have the knife thing yet?" she asked with a smirk. "I'd like to, but you'll have to cut your finger." I whispered, causing her to slap my arm.

"I'll cut your finger and then I'll take care of it. Perfect plan." She replied, making my eyes wide at her. "I'm dating a finger killer, what a new type to kill." I mumbled, making her squish my cheeks. "So you better be aware." She shrugged.
