Chapter 30
Todoroki's team consisted of him, Yaoyorozu, Iida and Kaminari. He discussed to them what their roles are and why he chose them. To him, he thought they were perfect and suitable for getting them to victory.
"The reason why I chose all of you is simply because I think that this is the best balance according to your quirks" Todoroki said as his team surrounded him.
"Now, your roles" Todoroki stated.
"Kaminari, you're on the left. You'll be sending out electric shots once someone gets near... no actually, don't let anyone get near at all" Todoroki explained and Kaminari understood, Todoroki then looked at Yaoyorozu.
"You will be on the right, Yaoyorozu. Make us any defense material you can provide as well as an insulator sheet" Todoroki instructed as Yaoyorozu nodded at him, and lastly, he turned to Iida.
"Iida, you will be at the front, boosting us with your engine quirk and be our physical defense" he instructed and Iida simply nodded.
"And you Todoroki, you can attack using ice and fire right?" Iida questioned, Todoroki went silent then looked up at the crowd where he was watching.
"No... In a combat battle, I'll never ever use my left side" Todoroki said bitterly as he glared at the No.2 hero, Endeavor, Todoroki's flaming Father.
"ALRIGHTT!! HAVE YOU ALL TEAMED UP? YOU BETTER! BECAUSE WE WILL BEGIN THIS CLASH WITH A COUNTDOWN!!!!" Present Mic yelled through his microphone.
"Hey Tetsutetsu, no hard feelings okay?" Monoma asked as he passed by Tetsutetsu and Tetsutetsu grunted as an answer.
As the countdown played, some of the team's points were showcased.
"Hey, listen up you bunch of idiots, we've all got one prey!" Katsuki declared as his team readied their stance and secured Katsuki.

"...Just one target, and you know who" Todoroki said, positioned atop his team.
TWO
Midoriya's sweat dropped but his determination didn't fade, he trusted his team and he needed to trust himself.
AND ONE!!!!
Just as the countdown died, teams immediately launched themselves toward Midoriya's team, causing him to freeze in place.
"The essence, is that this is a competition! For that ten million!!" Tetsutetsu yelled.
Another team formed with Class B students launched toward Midoriya's team as well as another team formed with Midoriya's own classmates.
"This is bad, one team coming at us up front and two other at the back, decide now Midoriya" Tokoyami reported as he saw the situation up front.
"Yes, time to execute the escape route" Midoriya said but not until a student from Class B touched the ground with his foot and immediately the ground sunk, this alerted Midoriya's team.
"We're sinking! It's possibly from that kid's quirk!" Midoriya exclaimed, he prepared the jet pack Hatsume gave him earlier and warned Uraraka and Hatsume to look away. They escaped successfully but the other teams still went after them.
"Dammit! The support department kid's done it! After 'em!!" Tetsutetsu demanded. Hagakure also demanded Jiro to do something to which she used her earphone jacks in order to at least reach Midoriya's band, only to be blocked by Tokoyami's Dark Shadow while still in midair.
"Good job Dark Shadow, always defend and watch over our blind spots" Tokoyami said and Dark Shadow agreed to the job assigned to him. Midoriya couldn't help but praise him and Tokoyami couldn't help but feel pleased but shy.
