i slowly opened my eyes sleepily, and sighed knowing i had to get up for work. i hated having work so early, and i just wanted to stay with chris all day. he had his arms wrapped around me and i slowly wiggled out of his grip, successfully not waking him. i checked my phone to see the time, and noticed it was saturday. i don't have work on saturday's. i sighed in relief, and slowly crawled back into bed next to chris. i must've woken him, because he immediately wrapped his arms back around me and buried his head in the crook of my neck.
"no work?" he asked in a sleepy croaky voice.
"yup, go back to sleep baby" i said, and he snuggled closer into me, holding me tightly. i wrapped my arms around him, and gently scratched his scalp. i heard light snores escape from his mouth, and that was my cue to go back to sleep myself.
