"Did a tornado go through your classroom or what?"

Taehyun's eyes flickered over to a snickering Kai that held hands with a concerned-looking Soobin. A small sigh left his lips as he moved over and let the couple sit with him at the small table.

It was currently lunchtime and the first four hours of his life at this school were already hell. For some reason, he felt so exhausted and his wrists hurt like fucking hell. He hasn't seen Yeojin in exactly four hours, thirty-eight minutes, and fifty-two seconds and it was making him go insane!

"I-I was just late this morning," Taehyun mumbled barely eating the tonkatsu sandwich he brought from the convenience store. Huening Kai and Soobin eyed each other in a confused manner, usually, Taehyun wouldn't be sulking like this unless...

"Did Yeojin reject you?" Soobin asked making Taehyun look up at him with wide eyes. Where the hell did he get that thought from? The male was a little bit offended by the sudden question but he was too exhausted to argue. "I didn't ask her out yet, I haven't seen her all day." He mumbled pushing away his food and resting his head on the cold table.

"Yeah, probably because she's with Park Sunghoon," Kai said absentmindedly while taking a sip of his grape juice. Soobin and Taehyun awkwardly made eye contact before the male's face turned red. "Kai-"

"It's fine." Taehyun scoffed and slowly looked over to the place where loud laughs were at. There she was, Yeojin sitting next to Sunghoon as the two laughed loudly together with the rest of Sunghoon's friends.

Taehyun couldn't help but wonder...Why couldn't it be him?

His heart was pinging with pain. It was like he was in love with someone who doesn't know he existed. Was it okay to feel envious of Park Sunghoon? He couldn't help but slowly have a bitter expression on his face, why couldn't Yeojin look at him like how she looks at Sunghoon?

"Hey don't look so mad Taehyun! Remember that time Yeojin gave you that really cute gummy bear candy?" Kai said noticing the bitter pained expression on his friend's face. It was quite disappointing how in love Taehyun was with a person who didn't love him back. "She gave a bear candy to everyone though..?" Soobin said in confusion earning a heavy glare from his boyfriend.

Taehyun just sighed before realizing something...The spell book! He was so stressed during classes he totally forgot about it! With a small smirk, he quickly grabbed his backpack and reached in it pulling out the book. He watched as Kai's eyes widened seeing what he just pulled out, more specifically knowing what it was.

"Okay nope! Secret meeting time, hyung put your headphones on." Kai quickly said and shoved Soobin's headphones into his hands. The blonde eyed the younger weirdly before sighing with a nod, quickly putting his headphones on he blasted the song 'bad boys gone good' by XTX watching Kai quickly sit next to Taehyun.

"What are you doing!?! Why did you bring that shit to school- don't tell me you're planning...to use it on Yeojin!" Kai whispered-yelled at the ombre-haired male.

Kai could easily read the male like an open book, he saw how Taehyun's eyes flickered back and forth between the spell book and Yeojin. He couldn't help but feel disappointed that Taehyun would try something like this. He should instead man up, grab his balls, and go up to Yeojin and confess his love for her!
