Chapter 4 First Day Of Being A Slave Part 2

He roughly pulled me in, his grip hurting my arm. "W-wait! I didn't know how to get here. That's not fair," I panicked, hoping he might listen. His smirk only grew bigger, letting me know he didn't care.

"No excuse, you pathetic slave," he sneered. I backed into the wall, and he followed my every move, his hand gripping my arm with painful force. He swung me across the room like a rag doll, my back crashing into a hard dresser. His footsteps drew closer, and I inwardly begged him to go away. He picked me up by the throat, his eyes cold and hard.

"I would play with you some more, but I have a meeting to attend," he said slowly, adding more pressure until I felt like I might pass out. I needed to call Aries. Aries? Instantly, there was a knock on the door. Tristan ignored it and continued his punishment. Suddenly, the door broke down, and Tristan turned his head.

"What the hell, Aries!?" he yelled.

"Put her down. You're hurting her."

Tristan looked at me and eased some of the pressure.

"What I do with her is none of your nosy-ass business!" he hissed.

"It is," Aries insisted.

Tristan threw me on the ground hard, and I screamed in pain.

"I'm not finished with you," he said to me before turning to Aries. "And I'm telling father about this."

"Go ahead" Aries replied, not caring about Tristan's words. Tristan left, and I began to cry. Aries knelt in front of me, looking over my injuries.

"You should have called me sooner. He almost killed you. If I hadn't interfered..."

I stopped crying and looked at him. I wished I had called sooner, but I was too scared.

"You're going to get in trouble because of me," I said.

"Don't worry," he chuckled.

"You need medical attention. I'll carry you." Before I could protest, he scooped me up in his arms. A blush crept onto my face as I felt his muscular body close to mine. I had never been carried by a guy before. His strong, secure hold made me feel safe, a stark contrast to the terror I had just experienced.

Aries moved swiftly through the halls, carrying me to a room where a medical team was waiting. They immediately began tending to my injuries, cleaning and bandaging the wounds.

"Sherry," Aries called out.

"Not again," came a familiar female voice, full of exasperation.

"Oh, poor dear. What did Tristan do?" she asked as she approached.

"He threw me across the room and then started to choke me," I whispered. She shook her head, clearly upset. At least she was a nice vampire, so far. After tending to my injuries, I felt slightly better.

"Thank you," I said.

"You're welcome, dear. Aries, after you're done, come see me, okay?" she asked, and he nodded. Once again, Aries carried me.

"I can walk," I protested.

"I'm not letting you down. End of discussion," he said sternly. He was right, I guessed, so I had to comply. He kicked the door open and laid me down on a soft, warm bed. I took in my surroundings, realizing this was definitely not my hellhole of a room.

The room was spacious and elegantly decorated, with a large window letting in the morning light. The bed was covered in luxurious linens, and there was a cozy sitting area with a fireplace. It felt safe and warm, a stark contrast to the cold, dusty cell I had been in.
