Professor Umbridge was Claire's new least favorite person. The professor thought that it was okay to ban using magic in her classroom. The Slytherins were all upset about it, whispering to each other.

"Professor Umbitch," Blaise snickered to Theo while they watched the woman prance around. She was currently fighting with Hermione about the lack of magic while Harry looked like he was about to explode.

"What do you wanna bet that they're going to fight this whole year?" Draco whispered into Claire's ear, making her whole body shiver which she hoped that she hid. They both just didn't mention their almost kiss and Draco didn't mention her going invisible either.

"Oh, definitely," Claire sighed. She knew that the two would not get along, but Remus didn't want her to tell anyone. He was of the opinion that people would try to change the future, and little things didn't need to be changed or they would cause big changes later. She agreed that nothing would change how horrid the professor is, but she wanted to at least warn Harry

"There he goes," Theo chuckled, making Claire turn away from Draco to watch Harry push his chair back and yell.

"I saw Cedric get murdered by Lord Voldemort!"

"Detention, Mr. Potter," Professor Umbridge giggles as if this was exciting. "The Ministry has already determined that these are lies."

"Bullshit," Claire spat under her breath. No one else seemed to hear her other than Draco, and of course the professor.

"Miss. Lupin, did you have something to share with the class?"

The professor's beady eyes made her stomach turn and she thought she was going to vomit. She could feel her hands start to shake and she felt like she was back in first year. She didn't understand why the pink woman made her feel like this, and she hoped it wouldn't last all year.

"No, Pro-professor," Claire whispered, not being able to make eye contact.

"Miss. Lupin, I know your father," the professor stated, starting to pace. Claire tensed her teeth in anger and she could feel her leg bounce without her purposely doing it. "I think you'll know that I have a long history with dealing with his kind."

Claire was now shaking with anger. Draco was staring at her with concern in his face while the rest of the class kept looking back and forth between the two, not knowing what was happening.

"I know exactly what you've done, you stupid, fucking-"

Claire glared at the professor since Draco, Theo, and Blaise all slapped their hands over her mouth. The professor only looked upset for a second before she giggled again.

"You can meet Mr. Potter in detention," Professor Umbridge informed her. Claire scoffed and grabbed her bags. Harry joined her and they both stormed out of the room.

"I can't... why would Professor Dumbledore let her teach here?" Harry questioned.

"He didn't," Claire sighed. "The Ministry forced him to. It's not like he wanted her here either."

"I just don't understand," Harry protested. "She's probably the worst person I've ever met, and that includes Voldemort."

"What are you two doing out of class?" Professor McGonagall asked, stepping out of her office when she heard them.

"Professor Umbridge, Professor," Harry explained. The elderly professor pursed her lips and then nodded for them to enter the office. Claire had only been in there once when she got in trouble with the twins and Lee, but she liked how comforting it was compared to Snape's office. The professor watched them for a minute, examining their reaction to the professor.
