Claire couldn't move. She couldn't breathe. She couldn't see anymore except for her mother and the crazed look in her eyes.

"My little moon," Emaline said, her laugh cutting through the silence as she pet Claire's hair. The girl was frozen, her breath stuck in her throat. "Mother dearest is here for you."

"Don't touch her!" Harry defended. Emaline was gone in an instant, shoving Harry into one of the shelves of orbs by his throat. Ginny caught Claire before she could collapse while the others tried to stop Emaline.

"I can't wait to murder you just like I murdered your father," Emaline laughed in Harry's face. Harry looked angrier than he ever had looked before.

"Chill out," Evan Rosier spoke up. Claire felt like she was going to throw up at being in the same room as both Rosier children.

"Emaline, I believe Mr. Potter has something we want, and you know the orders. We can only hurt him, not kill," Lucius Malfoy spoke up.

"What do you want?" Harry asked once the woman let him go. He sounded scared and sad as he observed the situation. A group of teenagers vs Death Eaters wasn't a fair fight.

"What do we want?" Bellatrix Lestrange laughed. The sound was almost as bad as Emaline's cackle. "Neville, why don't you tell Harry what we want? Or did your parents not teach you how to talk?"

Neville looked scared and upset as he faced the woman who tortured his parents into insanity. She cackled again and tried to touch Neville's face, but Claire shoved her arm away.

"You want me and Harry," Claire spoke up. "Let the others go."

"Look at my little girl. So much like her father," Emaline spat. "How you ever made it into Slytherin I can't possibly imagine. Crucio!"

Claire was screaming and her memories of the year before were pouring into her head. The torture didn't last long and she was pulled back, Neville and Ron standing in front of her while Ginny and Luna were holding her up. Claire spat blood onto the floor, wiping away her tears. Harry was holding the orb above his head, threatening the Death Eaters.

Please come find us. I don't want to die.

Claire didn't know who she was talking to, but she just hoped they could hear her and would send help. She couldn't focus on anything except for her mother, who kept cackling at Harry as he talked to Lucius and Bellatrix. Emaline kept smirking at Claire, like she knew a secret that the young girl had yet to discover.

"Now!"

Claire was lost when the others started running. The orbs and shelves were crashing all around her and she tried to run, opening the first door that she could see, but she didn't make it very far into the next room until her mother was grabbing her.

"No!" Claire shrieked. Her wand fell onto the floor. They were in the room with the archway, and she could hear the whispers coming from behind the veil, seemingly calling her name. She had fallen down the last few steps, her side sore. She hurried to stand up, trying to look strong.

"I've been seeing this day for years," Emaline said lowly, twirling her wand at her daughter. "I've seen your future a hundred times before."

Please. I'm so scared. I need help.

"I always knew you would be a seer like me. But I hear you're even more powerful. Even stronger."

Emalinee was right in front of Claire, walking around her and nitpicking every little part of her, searching for a weakness.

"I've been waiting for this day for years. I've missed you, my little moon. I've missed this power when we're together. Now I'm ready to win, to finally get what I deserve."
