The next few weeks were the worst Claire had. She retreated from her friends and was barely seen other than in classes. Claire learned how to get into the kitchens so she didn't even eat with the other students, only getting food from the house elves. She also started to skip Defense class, using Draco's notes to stay up to date.

After seeing Remus punch Thomas and getting the confirmation she needed to know that Remus was a werewolf, Claire had somehow developed a fear of her father. She had always seen him calm and nice to everyone, but seeing him violent shocked and scared her. Plus, she knew that he knew that she lied, and Claire wasn't ready for that conversation.

Luckily for Claire it was finally a Hogsmeade weekend meaning that she would have the dorm to herself. Pansy seemed to realize that Claire was having a bad time, so she constantly was making rude and hurtful comments. Claire had fallen asleep crying multiple night because of Pansy.

Claire had just sat down at the desk in her room when a timid knock was heard. Claire groaned a little, opening the door to find a first year.

"Harry Potter is at the door and he wants to see you," the first year said, leaving as quickly as she came. Claire sighed and pulled on a pair of shoes, knowing how cold the floor of the common room always was. Grumbling under her breath, Claire made her way to the common room door. Sure enough, an awkward looking Harry was waiting there for her.

"There you are!" Harry said, gently grabbing Claire's wrist and dragging her a little bit away. She was glad that she had put on real clothes since they passes quite a few people.

"What is your problem?" Claire asked, pulling her wrist away and following Harry instead of being dragged.

"Look at what Fred and George gave me," Harry said with a smirk, pulling out some parchment from his pocket. Claire raised her eyebrow at him, obviously unimpressed.

"It's parchment," Claire said slowly as if she was talking to a child.

"Look at this," Harry smirked. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

Claire gasped as lines started appearing on the parchment, forming a map of the school in second.

"Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs," Claire read. "The Maurader's Map."

"And look at this!" Harry said excitedly, pointing to the map. Claire squinted and saw he was pointing to a passageway that would lead out to Hogsmeade.

"Are you suggesting we use the passageway and sneak out?" Claire asked.

"Exactly!" Harry said.

"No way," Claire said quickly, shaking her head no for extra emphasis.

"C'mon!" Harry whined.

"No way. I have homework to do," Claire protested.

"You've been ignoring me for the past few weeks," Harry noted, making Claire's cheeks blush. "The least you can do is hang out with me today."

"Will Ron and Hermione be there?" Claire asked.

"Well...yeah," Harry admitted.

"Ron hates me, and if I'm being completely honest, I'm not his biggest fan either. So I'm really sorry, but I can't," Claire decided.

"I'll buy you chocolate frogs," Harry said knowingly. Claire narrowed her eyes at him bitterly.

"Curse you, Potter," Claire said angrily. Chocolate frogs were one of the weaknesses, so the option of having someone else buy them for her wasn't something she could say no to.

Harry let out a cheer and hurried to find where the entrance of the passageway is. After a few minutes of searching, Claire and Harry found a witch statue, which with a spell opened up into a passageway.
