As expected, the Lupin-Black house was chaotic. The full moon was coming closer and it was the first one that Claire had spent with her dad in a long time. She seemed to also be affected this month by the upcoming full moon, leaving her almost as irritable as her dad. Draco tried his best to stay out of the way and not cause a fight, which meant that he spent a lot of time with Regulus because Remus would glare if the Slytherin boy even looked at Claire. Sirius was trying to keep the peace in the house, but it was hard because of all of the tension.

"How are you feeling?"

Claire pulled the blanket off from over her head and glared at Sirius for interrupting her. On top of the full moon, her period had come early which meant that even Draco was avoiding her. She was trying to nap but her head hurt so bad that she couldn't fall asleep.

"Tell your boyfriend to go back in time and never have sex," Claire grumbled, plopping back down and covering her head again. Sirius snorted and sat down on the bed, pulling the blanket away once more.

"I'm afraid it's too late for that," Sirius fake sighed. "Is there anyway I can help?"

"Cut out my uterus," Claire responded.

"I have some muggle medicine instead," Sirius suggested.

"I guess that will be okay," Claire giggled, sitting up with some help from Sirius. She scooted over so he could sit next to her, gladly leaning into his side. "Is he okay?"

It had been two days since she had spoken to her dad, and it was weird to have to sit in her room and wait to come out when she didn't hear his footsteps.

"He feels bad about the fight and the way he treated you and Draco," Sirius replied, a small frown on his face. "I think that this full moon is going to be bad. The last time he was like this was during the first war. I'm not saying that you should forgive him until you're ready, but he's trying his best."

"I know," Claire muttered. "Do you think that he's going to ever let Draco look at me?"

"He's your father," Sirius snorted. "Maybe look at you, but don't expect any alone time with him anytime soon. And that's coming from me too."

"You're the worst."

"Do you think I can get this to land in his mouth?"

Claire raised an eyebrow at Regulus and then sat up more, looking at how far away he was from Sirius. It was the night of the full moon and Sirius was home with the kids to keep them safe while Remus transformed, but he fell asleep halfway through the movie. Regulus had some leftover popcorn that he had been occasionally throwing at his brother. Sirius was obviously exhausted because he was loudly snoring, his head thrown back and mouth wide open.

"I'll give you a galleon if you can," Draco offered, a small smile on his face. Since there were no awake adults around, Claire was finally safely tucked in his side. The full moon made her feel like she had a fever and her head was pounding, but faint howling outside reminded them that Remus was going through something much worse.

Regulus squinted his eyes in concentration and tossed the popcorn, easily landing it in Sirius' mouth. The teens all let out a cheer, accidentally waking up the man. Sirius jumped up in a rush, choking on the popcorn. It took a few coughs before he got the popcorn dislodged from his throat.

"Why?" Sirius complained, sitting back down with a huff.

"You were snoring so loud," Claire responded with a small giggle. Sirius sent her a fake glare, his eyes glancing down to where Draco's hand was resting on her hip. In an instant, Draco was sitting like a proud Pureblood, leaving Claire to fall down onto his lap with a huff.
