Claire was actually excited for Christmas for the first time in her whole life. Since she had finally talked to her dad, she was feeling much happier and they had agreed to spend Christmas Day together. Of course, since Harry wasn't talking with her there was a bit of a damper, but she tried to forget that.

Waking up to an empty dorm on Christmas morning made everything even better. For once she didn't have to hear Pansy freaking out or whining about every little thing.

The first thing Claire did was open the few presents she had gotten. Thomas sent her a letter, which she immediately three away. Harry surprisingly sent her some more chocolate frogs but Claire assumed that was only because he bought them before he found out about her mum. Even more surprisingly, Claire also got a small charm for her bracelet from Draco. It was a charm of a dark green snake, representing Slytherins. Claire felt had since she hadn't gotten him anything, but she also didn't have any money.

Since she was meeting her father, Claire hurried to get ready. She was leaving the bathroom to leave when she noticed a present on the floor in front of Pansy's bed.

"Someone must not have known she was going home," Claire muttered to herself. She decided to move it onto the bed so she didn't accidentally step on it. She froze when she read the card.

To my favorite twin (ps. Don't tell Harry)

It was way too coincidental that the day after Claire found out that Remus and his friends called her and Harry twins she finds a present for a twin. With slightly shaky hands, Claire tore open the present, gasping as she did so.

"A Firebolt," Claire breathed, running her hands over the slick wood. Whoever gave her this must've been rich, which immediately ruled out Remus. And whoever sent it had to have known about her and Harry, leaving only one person.

"Holy..."

Claire muttered surprised curses under her breath as she hurried out of the room, ignoring the few Slytherins who were in the common room. She was in front of the Great Hall when she ran into Harry, Ron and Hermione.

"Did you get it too?" Harry and Claire asked at the same time. Harry didn't have his Firebolt with him, but he had the card.

"Yeah," they both responded, passing each other the card they got.

To my favorite twin (ps. Don't tell Claire)

"It's the same handwriting," Claire said anxiously.

"Who could it be from?" Harry asked. After their talk, Remus told Claire to not tell Harry anything, thinking it would be better to hear it from an adult.

"I'm not sure," Claire lied.

"This is awesome!" Ron exclaimed. "Two Firebolts!"

"I think you two need to turn those in," Hermione said anxiously.

"No way!" Harry argued. "It's a Firebolt! I'd be insane to do that!"

Hermione looked troubled, her eyes going back and forth between the two Firebolts.

"Why did they give you one too?" Ron asked quite rudely.

"I-I guess t-they kn-knew I l-like qui-quidditch," Claire answered.

"She flew better than anyone else in first year, remember?" Harry said. Ron grumbled a little but nodded. "I can't believe it. A Firebolt!"

"It's a-awesome," Claire agreed.

"Claire?" Remus asked as he approached the group. Harry seemed to remember what he had heard as he stood up straighter a troubled look on his face. "Is everything okay?"
