I felt myself pause, stumbling to a near by pine tree as the others came to a stop as well.

My nails dug into the bark of the tree, my jaw clenched as I felt myself give up.

My mind was fuzzy, the smell of blood in my memories made me slobber. My throat burned, felt as if I was being drowned in FireBall.

"Y/n! Come on!" Ania whispered, grabbing my arm only for me to scratch her away. She looked at me wide eyed, tears that stained her cheeks shined in the moons light. Sidney stopped running, turning back he furrowed his eyes on me.
"What are you doing?!" He whispered, stomping up to me with clenched firsts.

"I can't...I-I can't, I need..." I breathed out, falling to my knees. My bones buzzed, my stomach was empty of even intestines. Isaac came up behind me, rigid breaths escaped his mouth. "Their a mile away, their trying to hurd us to the far gate." Isaac whispered, looking down on me with the others.

"Shit." Isaac huffed, kneeling besides me he let me rest against the bark of the tree. I looked up to the stars that were to shiny, to bright. "What's wrong with her?!" Sidney growled, his dirty blonde hair shimmered in the gaze of the starts above that were to strong for my vision. "Oh no." Ania whispered, she stepped backwards as she rose her hands up to her gaped mouth.
"The hunger...she's, Y/n? Can you hear us?" She whispered, her green eyes became blurry.

Ania's brunette colored short hair flowed in the nights breeze, sending shivers down all of our spines. The grey sweater loosely hung to her dirty frame, stained with blood.

Blood.

"Go...I need..." I trailed off, my e/c orbs grew latched onto the bloody stains on Ania's sweatshirt.

"I'm hungry, I need it...COME HERE!" I suddenly hissed, lurching forward as my arm extended for Ania. I knew I would regret it later, but I was just so hungry. She gave out a gasp, maybe it was from stepping a sharp rock below her bare feet or it was from my attempt at clawing her.

"Get her to shut up!" Sidney spat, walking over to Ania's side and confirmed she was okay.

My eyes went to Isaacs almond colored orbs, locking with his distressed gaze. "You'll be able to survive untill we get to the gate right?" He whispered, sternly grabbing my shoulder.
I was shaking, it was so cold from the pouring rain.

"Isaac...Isaac...We can't run," I paused, leaning in closer so Isaac could only hear. "We can never run from him, I'm sure he's watching us right now and laughing." I whispered, letting out a choked sob.

"Do we have to leave her behind?!" Sidney suddenly spoke, Isaac turned to face the teen as his grip tightened on my shoulder. My heart beat stopped, my eyes widened at his suggestion.

"We're not going back." Isaac stated, to what I imagined furrowing his eyebrows at Sidney.
We four knew he meant himself, we all didn't want to go back. If we did, we would end up going insane like I was in the verge of.

The pines swayed more violently as the pouring rain came, the stars looked down on us with hope.

We sat silent for what seemed for like forever, untill Isaac suddenly left my side and picked up a sharp object near Ania's bare foot. "You two, run as far as you can up the trail." He stated, keeping his brown eyes on my distressed form.

Ania's eyes were filled with worry towards me, and relief deep down for being able to run.

Sidney questioned Isaac, but with the shake of Isaacs head and my eye contact for approval he turned and grabbed Ania's cold hand, sprinting south away from us and up the dark trail.

"Y/n, I don't know how far you'll go, but..." Isaac choked, turning to look down on me with tears he tried to hide in his eyes. His black hair stuck to his forehead, running down his neck. He bit down on his bottom lip as he brought the rigid rock to his arm, convincing himself to continue.
