I step into our house and sigh dropping off the bags. Aaron comes up behind me doing the same before sighing "You ready to take a shower?" "Yea then we can unpack" Ein took Lilith thankfully so I can settle in peace. I take the bags I was carrying and head up the familiar set of stairs. I open the door to see the bed made and fixed while the rest has ben cleaned as well. I sigh sitting on the bed "Tired?" "We can unpack tomorrow lets just shower and go to bed, yea?" I nod getting up to turn on the water.

I wake up at peace it feels like, sleeping in my own bed since forever. I sit up smelling bacon and pancakes and I smile sitting up. I go to the bathroom before heading downstairs seeing grocery bags everywhere while Aaron puts them away and cooks, quietly humming. He sees me and I watch his face change into a loving smile "Morning sleepyhead" "What time is it" "About 11" "My sleep schedule" He chuckles "Its not horribly ruined" I roll my eyes as he pulls me in for a kiss "So Im going back to work Monday officially as owner of the company" I nod "We'll figure out a routine soon, but would you rather be in office or home" "I need to do something aside watch Lilith all day, I love her but the cycle is awful" He nods "So do we want to hire a babysitter?" "Yea I dont want her with 20 other kids in a classroom and I love mom but her and babies dont mix" He chuckles "Hey both our moms need their after lunch naps" I chuckle "So why dont we start looking at babysitter sites today, and since you shopped today its unpacking and settling in, yknow making it look like people live here. "That sounds good we need to talk about a date" I start helping him put away groceries "Well how soon do you want to get married just turned September 4 days ago" "Well Im down to go to the courthouse tomorrow just between you and me" "My mother would kill me, we would need time to set everything up" "We could do it on the day we met, have a nice spring wedding" "I think we could make that work, I can have someone make the cards for us" He nods going over to the calander flipping through to next year with a red sharpie marking up May7th. "There we go"
-o- (Bout a week later) I sit down the plate of cupcakes on the table and get up Frozen 2 for me and Travis to watch, we're telling a few people before we send out the save the dates. Plus, I need someone to walk me down the isle. While I love Eric and my dad Zack, they werent there for me like he was. Not alone buddies definetly rule over the last few years of my life, and though he isnt like my father he's like a brother to me. I hear the door ring and it pulls me out of my thoughts as I go open it. "Aphmau!" "Hey Travis" "Everything alright you seem Anxious" "Oh no everything is fine come on in I got our movie up" "Frozen again?" "You chose last time cmon" I close the door and sit down next to him as we get omfortable for our move night. Aaron is working late and Lilith is aready in bed. I turn on the movie and I get up to go to the bathroom close to an hour later and I slip on the ring and I go back out pausing the movie "What-?!" "Shut up and listen" He gets quiet looking at me intently "So while me and Aaron were at the Island before we left we did get engaged" I show him the ring and he squeals hugging me "OH MY GOD I KNEW IT!!" I chuckle "We're trying to keep it hush" "Good luck that is a fucking rock!" "I dont plan on wearing it till the ave the dates are out" "Which is??" "Within the next week its for May 7th" "Aww when yall met" I nod "But there is more" I grab the box thats been beside me this whole time and hand it to him. I hand it to him

He tears up reading it and he looks up at me before down back at the box. He sets it down and tackles me in a hug "Of course!! This is my life goal! First a godparent second a real parent" I roll my eyes "Your not my dad" "I am while I walk you down that isle" I snort as he chuckles "Whatever Travis" He cups my cheeks before kissing my forehead "Its an honor Aphmau, really I'd love too" I nod before giving him another hug "Now cmon unpause it!" I shove him over onto his side of the couch unpausing the movie.

I wake up to Lilith screaming and I bolt up from the couch running to the downstairs nursery. I sigh seeing her still in the crib probably upset over a diaper. I pick her up and here footsteps behind me. Aaron pops in and sighs "Its been a while since she screamed like that" "Yea" I notice how red she is and check her temperature "She has a fever" He nods an comes up kissing my forehead "Do you want me to take her?" "No I got her" He nods kissing my forehead before heading back upstairs. I change her diaper before taking her out to the living room. I make her a bottle quickly and get her medicine ready while she drinks it. I hear her drop the bottle and I turn around picking her up off the floor giving her the medicine and pick the bottle back up giving it back to her. I put on some show while I cuddle with her on the couch. She scrunches her nose and begins whining, I stand up walking around and bouncing her and it seems to help her. Maybe we should take her tp the doctor? Its probably nothing. But what if it is something and I dont take her in until its too late. Its nothing!
I look down at her seeing her look at me and I groan as I watch her lip quiver as she begins crying again.
-o- Aarons POV I walk down the stairs probably 5 in the morning and find Lilith asleep on the floor and Aphmau on the couch, she probably moved after Aphmau fell asleep. I go over picking her up and waling her back over to her crib upstairs. I set her down waiting a bit to make sure she's still asleep and when Im sure she is I go back down picking up Aph bridal style taking her to bed. I lay her down, throw the covers on top of her and kiss her forehead. I go back downstairs to start up breakfast before I leave for work and after I eat and give Lilith a bottle since she woke up put everything in the microwave write a note letting her know in the bathroom and kissing her forehead one more time, leave for work.
A/N Greatly sorry for the intended promise my laptop decided to break like the motherboard gave out or something idk it broke. Then it was finals week so it was no sleep and studying, and now here we are free for 2 weeks so there will be handfuls of updates. Although, this book will start to move a bit faster to get to their wedding, obviously it wont be in the next chapter kind of fast ill always have some inbetween but this book will be moving faster to get to where I want to be. Im ignoring everything else aside from this book.
