5 hours. I've been on this party for 5 hours now. A lot of people know me but I do not know them. Troy introduced me to a lot of people but I never remembered anyone's name. I did not feel good talking to them. Like it was not genuine, parang nakikipag-usap lang sila for the sake of socializing and not for friendship.
Hindi ako masyadong nakakain kasi ang daming tao. They were partying everywhere. I can even smell smoke. Some are also wasted, yung iba ni hindi na makatayo habang may iba namang sumusuka. I started regretting going here. All of them are having fun except me.
Kanina pa ako uneasy but Troy never felt it because he was also busy having fun. Nakita kong may mga lumalapit pa sa kanyang babae but he's brushing them off in a kind way and shows that I'm with him. Kahit natutuwa ako sa ganung gesture niya uneasy pa rin ako sa nangyayari sa paligid. I looked at my phone, it's already 8PM.
I'm exhausted. Wala akong maayos na tulog these past few days because I've been studying tapos pumunta pa ako dito. I really wanted to go with Troy and experience this but I did not know that this is very hardcore. Everyone's almost wasted already tapos 8PM palang.
I went outside to call my Mom. Hindi ko pwedeng istorbohin si Dad dahil nasa hospital na siya ngayon since kagabi lang ang dayoff niya.
I cannot call Veen as well, I am still ashamed. For leaving her like that. And the image of her back is still fresh on my mind. Hindi ko kayang makita siya sa ngayon, pakiramdam ko ang sama ko.
"Mom?"
"Yes baby? Pauwi ka na ba?"
"Yes Mom. Can you ask kuya Roy to pick me up?"
"What about your date? Hindi ka niya maiuuwi?"
I sighed.
"He's trying to help out his drunk friends po. It's not safe for him to drive because he also has alcohol in his system"
I don't want to make Veen upset about him if she'll know that he'll drive while he took some shots. Ayaw na ayaw ni Veen na ipagdrive akong nakainom. Kahit na sino pa. Kaya kapag lumalabas sila ng mga kaibigan niya at kasama ako, she never drinks. I never saw Veen so drunk in my whole life. Hindi niya hinahayaang kunin ng alcohol yung system niya. Her reason is she cannot take care of me if that happens.
Pagkatapos ng pag-uusap namin ni Mom ay lumabas ako ng gate at umupo sa labas ng bahay kung nasaan kami. I just texted Troy that I'll go home and our driver will fetch me. Sinabihan ko na siya kanina na uuwi ako and he did tell me that he cannot leave his friends because they were so drunk so he asked me a favor to ask Veen to fetch me instead. That was fucked up I know. I cannot have Veen fetch me because she will be pissed off.
After a while of waiting, a black wrangler stopped in front of me. Nagsimula na akong kabahan because it was too late. I know that car.
It's Veen's.

I closed my eyes when I heard Mon's mom blurted that out of frustration as soon as their conversation ended. She is pissed at Myers. Me too. I clearly asked him to keep her safe and now he cannot even take her home because his friends are more important. He's also drunk I bet.
I have been waiting for Mon since 6PM. I went to their house to make sure that she will be home safe and sound. I guess it's a good thing that I went here. I am ready to punch that guy if anything happens to Mon. I'm just trying to respect him because Mon likes him but once he crosses the line, I will not hesitate to fuck the shit out of him.
