"Hey boss, your friends are here. Should I let them in?"
I was busy with analyzing data statistics and signing documents when I heard my assistant on the intercom. Haaay these girls. They're being a nuisance again.
"Is it all four of them? If it's just Jamie and Taylor then no"
Those two will not let me work in peace everytime they visit so I would rather shoo them away than let them pester me. It's already Friday and I'm trying to get all things done so I could spend my weekend without thinking about work.
"Miss Nita is not with them, boss. Just the two and Miss Kate"
I massaged my temple. Sumandal ako sa office chair ko bago ako sumagot. At least Kate is here to scold them.
"Alright. Let them in"
"Copy boss"
I went back to what I'm doing again. Minutes passed and I heard the opening of my office door and it was followed by annoying greetings from my annoying friends.
"CAPTAAAAAIN!!! AMISYUUUU!"
"SAM PAUTANG"
"Ang iingay niyong dalawa. Sam is trying to work"
See? Kate's there to scold them.
Hindi ko sila tiningnan kahit naramdamang kong lumapit sakin si Taylor at Jamie. I just let them watch me work.
"What are you guys doing here?"
"Tumigil ka nga muna sa pagt-trabaho! Marami ka pa rin namang pera. We're here to visit you tapos dinedeadma mo kami!"
I removed my attention from my computer screen and looked at Jamie. I crossed my arms.
"The last time I checked we just saw each other yesterday because you wanted to unwind for being heartbr---mmphh"
She did not let me finish what I'm about to say but covering my mouth. Naiinis kong kinuha yung kamay niya at sinamaan siya ng tingin. Gross!
"Your hand is filthy, Jame. Yuck!"
"Napakaar--"
Hindi niya rin natapos ang sasabihin dahil hinawakan ni Taylor ang magkabilang braso niya at pinaharap dito. That's what you get if you're being annoying, your secrets will be spilled.
"WAIT LANG! HEARTBROKEN KA?!"
Taylor shouted at our friend who closed her eyes because of her loud voice.
"Bakit hindi namin alam yan? Si Samantha lang yung sinabihan mo ha Jamie??"
Jamie stomped her feet and marched towards the sofa to sit beside Kate.
"Bwisit ka talaga Sam! It was just a crush okay? He's a senior in med school. I decided to confess kasi tanga ako and dahil tanga ako hindi ko alam na bakla siya. He told me he's gay and he currently have a partner"
Hindi pa man natapos sa pagsasalita si Jamie ay agad nang tumawa ng malakas si Taylor.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ang dami mong baklang friends- me, Sam, Mon and Nita tapos hindi mo talaga nasense na bakla siya?!"
"Gaga! Iba naman kasi kayo. Wala din naman akong gaydar kasi di ko kayo kadugo. Duh?!"
"Pfft. That's okay, Jame. Malay mo hindi talaga siya yung para sa'yo"
Jamie looked at Kate happily.
"Right?!! Parang sa inyo ni Troy! You guys never imagined that you'll end up together!!"
