the kitchen kneading the dough making the famous bread that Briarcliff provides to the public, your arms sore and cold taking your emotions out on the dough since you didn't want to get punished if you took it out on someone else.

"Y/n?" A recognisable voice intrupted your anger session with the dough, "Hey kit" you said giving him a weak smile, your eyes tired and hollow, your hair all tousled, "you alright? I think your about to bruise that dough" kit said pointing to the dough you let out a sigh in exhaustion.

"I can't take my anger out on anyone so the dough is my next best shot" you chuckled trying to brush it off as a joke but failed, kit walked closer to you his hands landed on your shoulders you stucked in a sharp breath at the action trying not to breakdown.

Kit was your closest friend in this place sure you were close to lana but not like you were with kit he was caring, sweet, always listened to you and was there when you needed him without hesitation.

"Hey you can talk to me it might be better then punching the dough" he spoke softly rising an eyebrow at you making you shake your head in a soft giggle, "it's just this place it's too much to deal with kit and I'm trying my hardest not to snap with sister judes punishments and everything I just feel hopeless" you said your eyes looking up at the ceiling to prevent the tears slipping out.

"I know it's hard in here but I promise you y/n one day we'll get out of here freely or even breaking out of here I'll take you with me we both don't deserve to be here" kit stated bringing you into his embrace holding you close as you let the tears finally slip from your eyes.

"Your just saying that kit you'd probably run the first chance you'll get and leave me" you hiccuped in-between sobs, you felt kit shaking his head in disagreement, "y/n I'd never leave here without you and leave what we have behind" you finally looked up at kit into his brown eyes that you always got lost in they were red and glassy like yours.

"Wanna know why?" He asked you nodded not saying anything his hands on your arms still holding your close, "because I love you I would let anyone hurt you and I would never leave here without you because I can't live without you in my life your the only reason I can survive in this hell hole if I can't survive here without you then god knows what I'll be life out there again" he whispered softly tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear.

You smiled up at him finally hearing him say how you felt about him light up a new fire in your soul to make it through this place, opened a whole new world for you both, "you really mean that?" You asked now wrapping your arms around his neck "of course I do" kit said leaning closer to your face.

"I love you too kit" you grinned againt his lips before pressing them to his, as cheesy as it sounds it felt like sparks of electricity feeling like in the movies, you were now like an addict and kit was the drug, vice versa "what are you two doing" the sound of sister jude's voice intrupted your affectionate moment.

"Shit" kit mumbled your eyes popping out your head, you were now in for it, but it was worth it.
