This was it. Your heartbeat momentarily halted, head craning to your left. Amidst lights of blue, the crimson-haired idol seemed to be unaware of his position; threatening to plummet off of the edge of the stage with how close he'd gotten. Such a plummet could either break a bone in his body or simply kill him.
Fueled by adrenaline, you charged forth. Skidding back on your heels, you snatched his waist in your hands. Having been unsteady already, you quickly spun around as he latched onto you. Forcing the weight backwards, you collided onto the stage directly on your rear. It hurt like hell, but there was no time to waste on it. Evidently scared out of his mind, Hiiro leaned into you.
Taking that as a signal, Tatsumi darted forth to begin his part. Mayoi and Aira joined shortly afterwards, playing off the incident as entirely planned. Your heart was pumping so quickly, your entire frame felt as though it'd shatter from the sheer panic. While it began to ebb away, you slid your fingers into the boys hair, pressing your forehead into his. He breathed a sigh of relief, visibly still recovering from the horror of nearly falling to his death. "You're okay," you reminded him, patting his sides to ensure he truly was okay. "Come on, we've got a part to play!"
Hoisting himself off of the ground, Hiiro aided you to your feet. You then proceeded to strut towards Aira, interrupting him before he could steal your lines. Nonetheless, such an experience was terrifying. Twas an experience you never wanted to happen again.
It seemed as though Hiiro had become allergic to the edge of the stage after the incident, which you found quite adorable. Anytime he neared the edge, it was as though he'd bristle like a cat and scamper backwards. Eventually, that weariness faded away, returning Hiiro into his wonderful, purely talented self.
Haha, he's fucking adorable. He's bouncing like a bunny whenever he gets too close to the edge.
