╰┈➤ You call out of work late at night, tired and happy to finally head home. However, on your way out of the studio, you spot your figurative son— Tomoya, curled up in a corner. You rush to ask him what's wrong, willing to stay overtime to console him.

The darkness of midnight peered outside of the window in your office. Your back ached like hellfire and your wrists pleaded with you to rest them. Overtime and late-shifts certainly weren't rare for you, seeing how you're producing for more than two units at a time. However, you don't normally burn yourself into the ground. The only thing that keeps you going is the fact that you have three precious children to look after. They're not related to you biologically, but ever since you adopted their unit(Ra*bits), you considered them to be yours. You found it funny that both you and another member of Ra*bits happen to call the juniors your kids. It's become tradition for you and Nazuna to call them 'our kids', like some kind of married couple. It makes you laugh and you hope to never cease such a tradition.
With a gentle smile, you tucked your personal financing folders into your bag. You hoisted the tote bag's straps over your shoulder, holding the straps as though they were reigns as you began walking out of your office. You flicked a light switch moments before striding out of the office, leaving the room shrouding in darkness. The dark never scared you, but you know that it scares Tomoya and Hajime. You're always happy to say that Mitsuru is fine. Hajime can't put himself to sleep when it gets too dark. He always says that he has nightmares, and often times, he'll end up in bed beside you so that you'll protect him. You never cared that he woke you up, though. You were just happy to share such a bond. As for Tomoya, normally, he'll keep quiet and tell himself to toughen up. But, if he does have a nightmare, he'll most certainly end up calling for you. And as expected, you'll be there immediately to protect him. It's rare, but when Mitsuru has nightmares, he'll sprint about to 'outrun the bad feeling'. Then he'll just fall right back asleep. That always amazes you.
Your eyelids felt heavy over your eyes. You could feel your body telling you to rest, beginning to force it upon you. It wasn't time for sleep, however. Instead, you fought the feeling off and forced your eyes to stay open. You flutter blinked as needed to battle the haziness in your vision. If the upcoming Ra*bits live was to be a success, your children would need you there— and so would Nazuna. He'd most certainly want you there. And you would never let them down.
The entire Ensemble Square building was quiet. You wished that you could have been in the Rhythm Link building, but unfortunately, it wasn't one of those days. It was time to navigate the impossible building that is the ES main building. You walked past doors upon doors, only stopping when you glimpsed the kitchen. Since it was barely striking midnight, you assumed that Niki was already off the clock. Without bothering to check, you turned to the right to proceed down the long hallway. Your everything felt stiff with exhaustion, especially your back. You felt old thinking such a thing, but in reality, you're only as old as Nazuna. Many tell you that your condition is sad for someone your age— but you're happy. A happy mind and a happy life is all you need.
