Pete's POV

Servants from the Chess Room dressed me with some silky robe and brought me to some room.

I'm tied to the bed by both hands and ankles.

My eyes are still blindfolded.

"Fuck..."

I can't free myself.

"Creak"

I hear the noise of the door opening.

Footsteps approach the bed.

I'm prepared to defend myself somehow.

I smell a flowery perfume...not the kind Vegas likes.

"Who's there?"

"..." Hands touch my chest then my face.

"Fuck off!"

"Chill...."

"Jade?!"

"You have a good body, Pete...a good face..." He holds my chin. "But still... nothing out of the ordinary...what have they seen in you?!"

His hands slip to my neck, pressing down on it.

"Aargh...release me...bastard..."

I squirm to remove his hand.

"Guess who got your assassination order, Pete."

"Aargh...you lied!!"

"Can't you just die?!" Both hands squeeze my neck...I feel the air almost gone...the stinging pain on my neck.

Suddenly his hand loosens around my neck.

[Can you?!"]

I hear a menacing voice whispering, while Jade makes a grunt like he's being strangled.

"Let me go! Argh" He yells.

"I'll let you go to hell, Jade."

I recognize that calm but dangerous voice.

"Vegas?!Is that you?!"

"If you kill me, neither of you will get out of here alive."

"You talk like I care about your bullshit."

"You should care since my men are following your little brother to the hotel."

"Annoying." (in English)

I hear another guttural sound coming from Jade...

"Ugh...aargh...my men will kill him and send you his head, asshole."

"They won't." Another calm, stable voice replies. "Vegas, release Jade, please."

"Wang?!" I say, puzzled.

"Lian...ugh...kill Vegas and Pete...kill them...aargh..."

I hear a commotion...

"What's happening?!!?" I yell.
