(Major spoi-Oh, you know what? Screw it!!! You guys already know what's gonna happen so why am I even telling y'all this in the first place?)

Harper's POV: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As I watched Griffin climb out of the hatch, I heard him wince upon feeling that all-too-familiar jolt and quickly followed behind him, knowing that we didn't have much time here in 2024 to make sure that the future was gonna be okay. "We need to make this quick. Topher can only cover for so long." I said as I brushed a loose strand of hair out of my face. "Same with the twins." answered Griffin, looking around at our surroundings. "Look, once we're certain the future's been fixed, it's back home to live our lives in the present." he said with finality, knowing that if we time traveled anymore, something was bound to happen that would screw up our lives again. "No more time travel." I said, nodding my head. "No more time travel." repeated Griffin, sadly before we walked off for the high school. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Twenty-five minutes later, we both heard a large crowd chattering in the distance as we reached the school. "Good thing Sam was able to tweak the radio so we could set the dials to an actual date." I heard Griffin say, pointing out the very obvious, but I just chose to ignore that comment in favor of wondering why Griffin chose the date he chose. "Why'd you pick the night of the dance?" I asked curiously. "If we're here together, then that means I'm okay and we're still friends." answered Griffin, without skipping a beat as we came up to the courtyard fence. "There, look." said Griffin quickly as we heard kids chanting "Campbell! Campbell! Campbell!" and then saw our future selves, future Wyatt, Zoey and Topher walk out to the courtyard. "Topher's okay." I said, relieved to know I wouldn't have to worry about Griffin "pushing" Topher through the banister and then hating him for the rest of my life anytime soon. "Yeah." said Griffin happily, clearly as relieved as I was. "Enough, enough." I heard Future Griffin say as him and Future Me turned around to face everyone else in the courtyard. "Congratulations. To be clear, this doesn't mean you'll be getting any special treatment at home." scolded Future Zoey. "Oh, no, of course not. But, here at school? You both can address me as, as "my lord." " said Future Griffin teasingly. "Is it too late to demand a recount?" Future Wyatt asked with mock-worry. "Had to be rigged. Look at this face. How could I not win?" asked Future Topher, clearly confused. "Hey, be glad you didn't win, or would've had to dance with your sister." said Future Wyatt, his voice cracking as I saw Future Zoey slug-bug Future Griffin. "Homecoming King?" I asked, happy for my best friend. "I'd say you're doing better than okay. Plenty of people must like you." I said as I turned to face Griffin, who also turned to look at me. "I don't care about other people." said Griffin hurriedly, making my face feel a little hot and flushed as we both turned back to the courtyard and saw Future Griffin give Future Zoey his crown before our future selves ran off. "Come on." I heard Griffin say as we headed off for the football stadium. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As we walked to the stadium, I couldn't help but reconsider Savannah's words from the day when we were at the springs looking for another crystal. "Once seahorses find each other, they stay together for life. An unbreakable bond." And right now, those words were coming at me like a Mack truck. Was Griffin really my "Seahorse", as Savannah insisted upon calling us? I mean, sure, Griffin is cute and all, and no one could make me smile and laugh like he could. And his little dimples that show up whenever he smiles at me are enough to make a girl drop dead right then and there. However, before I could continue my internal rambling, I faintly heard our future selves laughing as we walked up the steps to the stadium and then saw our future selves dancing on the stadium grass. "Definitely still friends." I heard Griffin say reassuredly before I saw my future self be pulled in for a passionate kiss by Future Griffin, making my face go beet red. "Not just friends. Royalty." I said, chuckling, as Griffin and I turned to face each other, thankful that I was able to will my face back to its normal shade, although I couldn't help but feel like I'd seen the slightest hint of a blush on his face. "Uh, do you think any cool perks come with the job? Like, reserved parking, or, uh, or prime seating in the lunch room?" asked Griffin excitedly, like he was a little kid on Christmas morning, making me giggle. "Yeah, guess we'll have to wait a few years to find out." I answered, thankful that the future had been fixed and we'd all get our Happily Ever Afters. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Griffin's POV:

As I stood with Harper on the stadium, I couldn't help but think back on all the craziness of the past few days. It had been a lot, to say the least. But now, it was all over and here I was, standing on the stadium with my best friend/crush aka Harper and I was about to do something really stupid. But then, yet again, I ran off to 2024 when the crystal was cracking a few days ago in order to bring Sam back to the present, so really, how much stupider could what I'm about to do be? "Why wait for the future? We're already here." I said simply, before I started to lean in and then stopped halfway, my fear starting to get the better of me, before I saw Harper lean in as well and then, it happened. We kissed. And I don't know if you're one of those hopeless romantic types of people who reads a lot of Nicholas Sparks books like my mom does and has a certain picture painted in your head of the moment when you have your first kiss or not, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. It felt like there were fireworks going off in my brain. We finally broke away from locking lips after about seven seconds of heaven and we didn't say anything, our equally flustered smiles and rosy-red cheeks doing all the talking. But, we couldn't help but feel like there was someone watching us and we quickly looked down at the stadium, worried that our future selves had spotted us, but thankfully that was not the case. However, when we turned back around, we came face-to-face with someone who definitely wasn't supposed to be in 2024 with us. "Zoey?! What're you doing here?" I asked, probably raising my voice more than I should've. "Alright, now, Griffin, I can explain." said Zoey hurriedly, raising her hands in the air to show us that she was(probably)telling the truth. "See, Mom called and she wanted to talk to all of us. However, seeing as how you and Harper had already set off for 2024 by the time she called, Wyatt, Topher and I drew straws to see who would come here and get you guys. And, unfortunately, I drew the short straw." said Zoey, a hint of annoyance in her voice. "Oh, so that's it? Zoey, we were literally about come back to the present. We only came here to make sure that we'd fixed the future and we won't have to worry about Topher going into a coma or Griffin dying anytime soon. Go. We'll be right behind you." said Harper worriedly, as she looked back at the football stadium, clearly thinking the same thing I was:Did Zoey see us kiss?  "Okay. Fine. See you guys at home." said Zoey, waving to us as she turned on her heel and then went down the steps. "That was way too close." I said a few seconds later once Harper and I were sure she was gone, letting out a huge sigh of relief I didn't even know I was holding in. "Yeah, no kidding. If she had seen us kiss, she probably would've fainted right then and there and then who knows what might've happened after that. All the more reason we need to destroy the radio once we get home." said Harper, as we looked down at the stadium one last time before we turned back around and came face-to-face with Zoey again. "Oh, and by the way, don't think I didn't see you two finally lock lips up there. It took you guys long enough. And it looks like Wyatt and Topher now owe me twenty bucks each." said Zoey gleefully, smirking mischievously as she said that last part. "Go!!!" said Harper, now annoyed, as she pointed the way out of the stadium. "Alright, alright. See you later, Romeo and Juliet!!!" said Zoey teasingly, as she happily skipped down the steps. "Just let her have this. At least Savannah isn't here. Her reaction would've been a lot worse." I said, putting my arm in front of Harper to stop her from running after Zoey. All that mattered now was that her and I were finally together, the future was fixed and we weren't gonna need to use the radio ever again. I mean, really, the future really couldn't suck that much if we don't use the radio again, right? Right?! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, so, this was just something fun I wanted to do now that we finally got the long-awaited Harfin kiss after all this time. lol. I literally wrote this immediately after the finale dropped on Disney Channel. And I know her birthday is still a ways away, but this one-shot is also a little gift to my platonic seahorse @killiancaptainhook. (Hope you enjoyed it, milady!!!)  Also, don't hesitate to drop any theories you might have for s4 down below. Like I said last Tuesday, SOSS needs all the hype and love it can get right now so that way we, the fans, can get s4 in return. Anyways, I love you all to the moon and back and I'll catch you on the flipside. Ciao 4 now!!! <3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
