Roman & Scarlett (ON HOLD)

Chapter 37

Scarlet rushed to where Sofia lay almost lifeless to pick her up, she placed her palm on where Sofia was shot to prevent her from losing more blood, even though Sofia was still breathing and still conscious Scarlet couldn't help but feel hopeless.

"Sofia stay with me...mummy is here to help! Somebody help!" Scarlet said and screamed in tears.

A few seconds later a doctor and two nurses walked into the house and rushed over to where Scarlet and Sofia were.

"Sorry ma'am we have to attend to her please let her go" The doctor said as he opened up his medical case.

"She's alive we need to stop the bleeding" The doctor said to the nurses with him.

Scarlet had to let go of Sofia so they could treat her, she cried as she watched them bring out the bullet from the half-conscious Sofia, luckily for her the bullet didn't touch any important organ, whoever shot her didn't do it to kill her, after few minutes they were able to stop the bleeding and also stitch her up.

Roman on the other hand called the doctor and went out to check the security, he found half of his security men injured and some dead, the work was done by a snipper and from the look of things the snipper was in a Chopper,

"Sir all the men at the gate are dead" Karim Roman's bodyguard said.

"Call the den and take care of the bodies..... Pablo just declared war and we need to retaliate, send Simon and Shawn to prepare the next house am taking my family there tonight....also call martins to ready the boys" Roman said and went back into the house to check up on Sofia and Scarlet.

Immediately Scarlet saw him she walked up to him and slapped him on his face twice, the fire in her eyes was scary and it was like she was a different person.

"I warned you Roman I did!" Scarlet said angrily.

"You need to calm down," Roman said.

"Go to hell! you have no right to tell me what to do Roman! I warned you now look at my baby she's fighting for her life while you are fucking standing here doing nothing! my baby is fighting for her life! she's just eight Roman! just eight!" Scarlet said angrily with tears running down her face.

"You need to pull yourself together this is not the time to point fingers, we need to show him how powerful we are together" Roman said.

"I am not with you Roman there's no we! it's just you and you are not the winning side! you stand no chance against him and I was a fool to ever believe that you could face him!" Scarlet said angrily

"Scarlet your father just posted your picture on the AS forum and he's given a ransom to anyone who can bring you to him dead or alive" Carlos said interrupting Scarlet and Roman.

"What!?" Scarlet exclaimed.

"When did he put it up?" Roman asked.

"five minutes ago," Carlos said.

"It's all your fault! this is all on you! you kidnapped our child then lured me here...now look! I am freeking haunted by every assassin in the north and south!" Scarlet said angrily.

"Calm down Scarlet you need to calm down....do you know who the fuck I am? I am Roman Fucking black I need you to know that I am more than capable enough to take care of you and protect our child" Roman said and ran his fingers through his hair frustrated.

"How? How exactly do you plan on protecting us? How is Roman Fucking black? How?!! they shut our child in your own fucking house! so tell me how exactly do you plan on protecting us!? Explain it to me!! cause I don't see how" Scarlet said angrily.
