"So much for avoiding angry hicks." Robin muttered as the walked into war zone.

"Let's be... fast." Finished Nancy

"Yup." Agreed Marley

"Definitely." Finished Erica, they began walking around the shop, Erica and Marlow pushing a trolley, filling it with what ever they thought would be useful.

"Oh no." Erica spoke her eyes going wide as she glanced at Marley, Marley looked around to see what she was talking about. In every direction there were players from the basketball team. Marley and Erica glanced around again there eyes landing on Nancy and Jason, they were standing quiet closely, a gun in between, Jason gripping the barrel.

Erica and Marley were quick to warn the others, as they payed before heading out the back and to the RV.

"What happened?" Questioned Lucas as soon as they opened the door.

"Gotta go." Steve answers climbing in to the drivers seat.

"Your old friends are here." Erica went on looking at Dustin

"Shit!" He exclaimed

"Let's go! Let's go!" Nancy spoke as she pulled the door shut behind her.

"I'm going! I'm going!" Steve answered "sit down!"

They drove for a while before parking in someone's paddock, where they began setting things up for what was about to go down. Max and Nancy were cutting the barrel of Nancys gun. Eddie and Dustin were making shields and Erica and Lucas were making spears out of hunting swords and sticks. And Robin, Steve and Marley were making Molotov cocktails.

"It's just doesn't make sense." Muttered Steve

"What doesn't make sense?" Asked Robin as she poured Kerosene in to the empty beer bottle Marley was holding.

"That was Dan Shelter. He graduated, like, two years ago." Steve went on

"So?" Asked Robin raising an eyebrow

"So he's in college." Marlow said with a duh expression.

"Which means he was visiting on spring break. Fast times was returned, like, I don't know, a week ago? Right, unless she's got some horndog brother we don't know about. Which is possible, or she's just really into Judge Reinhold?" Steve finished

"Nah." Marley said shaking her head.

"Steve, Marley." Robin tried

"What?" They both asked

"I don't care." Robin spoke "I don't understand why you two do either with everything that's going on. Honestly, this feels like a perfect time for that little pull of the rug because... in the face of the world ending, the stakes of my love life feel spectacularly low."

"Yeah, I mean, I get you there." Steve replied "but I still have hope." Robin have him a smile taking the jar from him.

"Not everything has a happy ended." Marley deadpanned stuffing a old rag in the lid of the jar.

"Yeah, yeah, believe me, I know." Robin answered as she picked the kerosene back up continuing to poor it. "I'm not talking about failed romance." Robin added "I just, I have this terrible, gnawing feeling that... it might not work out for us this time."

"You think we shouldn't be doing this?" Asked Steve

"I think we're mad fools, the lot of us, but... but if we don't stop him, who will?" Asked Robin looking out to the others, Nancy was shooting her gun, Max stood there watching, Erica and Lucas were sword fighting, and Dustin and Eddie were shielding themselves and running around.

"We have to try, right?" Asked Marley

"Yeah." Steve replied holding up one of the beer bottles. "To killing Vecna."

"To killing vecna." Muttered Marley grabbing one of the other bottles

"Slash Henry." Robin added holding up another bottle

"Slash one." Finished Steve, as they all clinked there bottles.

It was a quiet, gloomy ride as they drove to the creel house, the sun was beginning to set, and they were all unsure as to what the next few hours would bring.

Steve stoped the RV and Erica, Marlow, Max and Lucas all climbed out, making there way up the stairs, before Steve drove off again, continuing to the trailer park.

That's the end of this chapter, sorry it's only short, only one more episode to write which I'm disappointed over as I've loved writing this book. Hope you've enjoyed it though!!
