I buried myself in my studies. After my loss, my doctorate investigation was one of the things that kept me going, that and BTS. I found comfort and solace in their music, and they also were part of my research: Music impact in fans' lives - How BTS can change a person. I spent my days reading news and articles about the boys, following their path through social media, reading Army vlogs with intimate life-changing stories, interviewing ARMYs, and discussing with colleagues the meaning of the boys' lyrics and videos... they became the new center of my life.
I became specifically interested in Suga, I mean, his life is a breathtaking story! I loved playing the piano, and lost mine to a family dispute not worth talking about. So, when I listened to First Love I was so mesmerized! Oh, dear! His feelings all exposed in one song!
Sorry hubby, I have a bias now... but you will still be the love of my life.
My days went on reading about him, memorizing his songs, and suddenly, dreaming about him. It had been a little over six months since I lost my family, and my womanhood started waking up from my lethargic state with Suga's songs. I'm not proud of having such intense dreams about Suga, but hell... they were some awesome dreams. Somehow, my life was not that bad anymore, I mean, I had to move on, even though it was through dreams and my studies.
Fortunately, my Bae left me very well taken care of. He invested in a friend's company, and with his passing I became a major stockholder, so I receive a very good amount of money every month thanks to that. I didn't have to work and could focus only on my research. I eventually sold our house, too many memories haunted me there, and bought an exclusive condo in the best neighborhood of my city. Thanks to my Bae, I can live a life without economic worries.
Slowly, I realized that life goes on, and I had to keep on going on behalf of my Bae. I love you, I thank you, and I will always carry you both in my heart. Your light will shine on with me forever.
