55. FaceTime

I asked Yoongi if I could go back to the hotel because I wanted to FaceTime my dad, the time difference made it very hard. I also asked him if he could be there, I really wanted my dad to meet him. He was a bit hesitant at first, but he knew it was important for me.

— "Hey Daddy! How are you?"

— "Hey bud! I'm fine, missing you a lot! How are you? Did the jetlag hit you?"

— "Yeah it did, but I'm ok now. How are my sisters? "

— "Oh, they're fine, they miss you too! So, how's everything?"

— "Great Daddy! I just signed a contract with the company for the lease of an apartment."

— "Oh... so that means you're staying permanently?" — I could see his face turning sad.

— "I still don't know Daddy, we're still figuring things out. But it's better to be prepared. I do like it very much over here, but well... I'm a bit scared of being so far away from home."

— "Darling, as long as your heart is in the right place you'll never be away from home. Home is where your heart is loved. Sure it's scary to be away from your family, but you never know how things can turn out, you can always come back at least to visit, right?"

— "Of course Daddy, I promised you I would visit you as soon as the tour was over. I will be there soon!" — My eyes started to get teary, and I didn't want him to notice.

— "My Bud, just do whatever your heart tells you to do, and you will be fine." — Now I could see he was about to cry. — "Uhmm, listen, I got to go now, I have to uhmmm... go somewhere."

— "Daddy, it's almost 10 PM, where are you going? Please, wait! Yoongi is here with me, can I call him in so you can meet?"

— "Mi niña, I'm not sure I'm ready to meet him, I just have to go, ok? We'll talk later, right? I love you! Dios te Bendiga."

— "Daddy, please! I really need this, I need you to meet each other, please Daddy."

— "Ok, sure... I don't want to upset you, you're right, let us meet."

I called Yoongi and he shyly showed himself to the camera.

— "Nice to meet you, Sir. I'm Min Yoongi, It's my honor to talk to you." — He bowed to my dad in a most respectful way.

— "Nice to meet you, Son. Thank you for giving my sweet girl a once-in-a-lifetime experience. She has told me wonderful things about you, I couldn't be happier for her."

— "Aaah, Sir! She has give me everything I wish for in my life, you have a beautiful, smart, and amazing daughter. She say that she is such a woman because of you. I'm sure you're proud of her."

— "I truly am proud of her, of all my daughters, but she's the most adventurous and brave of them, she never stops, there's no hardship that can stop her. Please take care of her, I know she doesn't need me protecting her, but... well... she's my baby, my bud, I can't help it... worrying about her, you know?"

— "I give my word, Sir. I take care of her... and love her, no worry." — He bowed again as he spoke.

I couldn't stop blushing and smiling at the way they spoke to each other.

— "Bud? I need to go now, ok? It was really nice to meet you, young man. I'm sure we'll talk again soon. Love you, hija mía. Dios te Bendiga."

— "I love you Daddy!" — he hung up before I could even say goodbye.

Yoongi had a soft smile and hugged me as I started to cry.

— "It was nice talking to your Appa, he is a good man. Thank you for this my Nabi."

Now I needed to call Aby.

— "Hey girl! How are you? How are they treating you? Look! Lana wants to say hi! She misses you!"

— "Amiga! I'm great, how 'bout you? Ooooh! Hey Lana, where's my pretty girl?" — I miss my Lana! I miss Aby, I miss my home!

We talked for about an hour, she wasn't very pleased when I told her about the apartment lease, but as always, she stood by my side, and cheered me to go for the full experience.

Ok, finally my sisters. Let's just say there were a lot of tears, best wishes, plans to visit, and sad smiles. How on Earth will I manage without my sisters near me?

It was almost 3:00 pm when I hung up with my sisters, and I felt emotionally exhausted... and hungry. Yoongi went back to the company, so I went out for lunch alone, that is until I found JK about to knock at my door.
