"I do not care about your intention, I just care about my preferences." Direkta kong saad bago tumingin sa nagbabago nang istilo ng hall ng palasyo.

"If you're going to be like this, Anais, you should've given  at first the theme you like." Austine said. The fuck is wrong with him? Nakakairita na, ay sa ayaw ko nga bakit kinukwestyon niya?

Napairap ako.

"I don't know, I don't receive any question regarding to my birthday venue nor asking me about what I've like." Sabi ko pa bago tumingin sa kan'ya.

"Oh please, it's my birthday."

"If you're being like this, to me, this banquet shouldn't be held. You're all about to burst my nerves." Kunot noo kong sabi sa paggaya ng way ng pagsasalita niya sa'kin.

Kung ano ginawa mo sa'kin, ibabato ko sa'yo pabalik.

"And please, stop calling me sister. I'm getting goosebumps." Walang emosyon kong sabi bago talikuran ko sila.

Wala naman sila magagawa, edi mag-birthday sila nang kanila.

"Happy Birthday to my dearest baby." Grandpapa hugged me, they're the first one to arrive.

"Thank you, Grandpapa." Napatingin naman ako sa inabot niya. I almost open it but Grandpapa stopped me. "You're going to open this present later, alright?" Napatango naman ako at ngumiti.

"Aww, my baby cousin is growing up." Nakapout naman na bati sa'kin si Brother Archer. I hugged him then he lifted me and circle me around. "Brother!" Napakapit ako at napatawa.

"Archer, you should put down Isla." Napatingin naman ako sa dumating, Uncle Dad!

"Unce Dad!" Galak kong bungad at tumakbo na papalapit sa kan'ya na nakabukas ang dalawang palad. He hugged me then iniikot ako nito ng isang beses lang, nang nakayakap.

Mag-ama nga sila.

"Happy Birthday, dear Isla." Nakangiti nitong sabi habang hawak ang pisngi ko.

I eyesmiled at him then thanked him.

"Austine!" Tawag ni Brother Archer kaya naglapit dito si si Austine.

"I glad that you're growing up well." Grandpapa smiled at him. At oo, hindi din naman matiis nila si Austine dahil ito ang panganay na anak ni Mama.

"Grandpa, Uncle, and Archer. I'm also pleased to see you again." Buong ngiti na sabi nito. Bago bumaling sa akin, kung wala lang sa harapan ko sila, kanina ko pa inetsapwera.

"Brother, is this-" napatigil si chaka doll sa pagtawag kay Austine nang makita kung sino ang kinakausap ng kapatid niya.

"Ohh.. I seem to interrupt your..." She awkwardly said at hindi maidiretso ang tingin.

"Of course not, Your Highness." Malamig na wika ni Grandpapa.

"Not really, you just totally did." Kimi kong sabi bago tumingin sa kapatid naming gulat sa inasal ko

After all the year she arrived, unti na din nilang natanggap na may pagsahumaling ang ama namin. Kaya may isang bruha tuloy ang andito.

Sus, it doesn't mean parin na they accepted her acceptance. Its just mean na, tanggap nila na nangyari na at wala na sila magagawa pa.

Hindi din naman nila kasalanan na hindi minahal ng lubos ng ama namin ang anak nila, ang mama ko.

Grandpapa cleared his throat before turning to me. "I can't still believe that my only grand daughter is already stepping on her prime." His eyes shines, the tears are building up on his eyes. I smiled brightly and hugged my Grandpapa.

He's still so sensitive hehe.

"Aww, this grand daughter of yours is still the baby of the family." He patted my head and smile tenderly at me. "Of course, my darling."

The party started with of course, the certain degree of courtesy that an imperial palace would do.

I ignored the Emperor.

I wouldn't want to be escorted by him kaya iniwan ko na siya sa entrada.

Matanda na siya, kaya niya na iyan at malaki na ako kaya bahala ako. Hindi naman siya ang may birthday eh.

"The beloved princess of our Empire is concurrently celebrating, the date of arrival in our Empire. The blessing of the Empire." The Emperor said then look into me directly. I met his eyes before ringing my champagne glass.

Humarap naman ako sa madla, I smiled picturesque. "Thank you for the time you're going to spend here for celebrating my birthday, I do hope that everyone here is enjoying themselves. Thank you for showering me with valuable gifts and giving me messages, I appreciate all of it." Tinaas ko ang glass ko and they also return my action.

Nagsimula na ang banquet at pagbuhukas ng dance floor. I wouldn't dance, nakakatamad.

"Oh, if it isn't the First Princess." I sided eye to my right when I saw how the young ladies approach the chakabelle.

"Ahh, hello." Nakangiti ito bagamat ramdam na mailap. Napangiwi ako.

Hindi nga siya nag-aaral.

I saw how the ladies stepped back. "Hah, so the rumors is true that the first princess from a commoner was not obliged to execute royal duties."

Eh wala ka magagawa, ayon gusto ng ama niya na siyang emperor.

Umikot ang paningin ko sa banquet hall. May mga nagsasayaw, nag-uusap sa circle nila, may nasa second floor ng palasyo at kung ano man.

"Countess Flavia." Malaki ang ngiti nito bago nagbigay respeto sa'kin. I also do the deed in return.

My smile grow bigger.

"Happy birthday, dearest princess." She sweetly greeted my occasion. "A pleasant evening, Viscountess Coxton and Countess Dawlish."

What a great timing, these ladies are the center of the Noble Society.

"I also greet the Duchess of Calvert." The painted smile on my could show how pleasant am I at this time.

The four major women of the noble society are the first one to come close to me.

"Oh dear, you're such a sweetheart." They all circle around me and with that, I happily accomodate their questions and compliments on me. They are the people whom stand beside my mother at her prime. Even now, they still hold the greatest influence on the faction of nobility.
