It's Thursday and I'm in college now, and yes I'm still with Marlene. Our relationship is still going pretty good. We go to the same college, but we aren't in a lot of classes together. It's been two years, and the disappearance of the girl was exactly two years ago. It is still scary how she disappeared like that. Her sister hasn't posted anything since, so I feel she is dead. Luckily me and Marlene live in the same dorm. I remember doing research about the girl on the day of her disappearance. It was on the news but nothing else was said about her. It left me with questions. I wonder where she went. Enough about that. When I was in class today, there was a new student. She wore a mask and had long light-cinnamon brown hair with greenish blue eyes. She was very pretty. But it confused me on why she was wearing a mask. Was she sick? Weird. When the professor introduced her, she didn't say a word. Was she mute? I decided to ignore my questions that began filling my head. I put all my focus on the lesson that my professor was teaching. It was boring, but I had to pay attention. I had to pass all my classes, even the classes I hate. One of those classes was this class. It was so boring, I nearly fell asleep. I glanced at the new student sitting in her seat, she was also taking notes. I noticed that some people were mumbling about the new student. I felt bad for her. If I was her, I would feel upset.

It was my last class, I wonder how Marlene is doing. I miss her. But about the new student, why was she wearing a mask? I mean, she could be sick. But if she was sick, wouldn't she stay at home? Thoughts ran through my head. They filled my head. I was oddly curious. I couldn't help but think about the new student. I didn't know anything about her, nothing at all, but I was assuming a lot of things about her. I know it wasn't right. But still. I couldn't help it. Once the bell rang, everyone packed their bags and left. I met up with Marlene at a new location at the new school. "Esther!!" Marlene said happily as she ran up and hugged me. I couldn't help but smile at her. "I missed you Esther!" She said, "I missed you too Marlene! How were your classes?" I responded. "Boring as always," she frowned. I laughed. From there, we walked to our dorm. Once we got there, we did our homework and watched a movie then called it a night. About the new student. Questions still haunted me.
