21. My dad

3 and half years later

"Okay, start the car Ruby." I ordered my secretary. I'm on my way back to my penthouse. I sigh, looking outside the car window.

After three years and six months I'm coming back here. I had actually came two time to give my exam and the graduation which Rowan forced me to.

I thought this graduation will be like my past life empty, lonely just by myself. But little did I know Rowan his grandma, his father,  my uncle, my grandparents were all there to surprise me. My happiness knew no bound that day. I felt to happy and touched. I cherish my graduation photos so much. I never knew a single picture could make me this happy.

That day I receive flower from Kim Taehyung as congratulations but I simply gave that to my grandma she loved it. As always my parents were not there but the most beautiful fact was it didn’t make me less happy.

Oh!  I made another friend that day. Not really really close but someone I appreciate. The girl who used to woke me up when the class ended.

Her name is Tae Sumi.

She is a celebrity now. A violinist, pianist and a soloist. She is a self made woman. Her parents forced her to study medical but she wanted to be a celebrity. She met a director of an entertainment company at hospital, he offered her to audition.

She cried to me and Rowan over phone what to do since she had no one to even talk. We convince her to give it a try or she might regret rest of her life.

And now she is a top celebrity like Rose. Their popularity, talent and beauty rivaled. Her parents now support her truly.

The funny part of the story is in my past life no one could compared Roseanne in South Korea. She was always on top, no one came even closed to her limelight. But this changed now.

If we bever convince her to give it a try she never wouldn’t so no one would rival my sister.

I remember in past if anyone tried to give Rose a competition or someone tried to take the limelight my parents would indirectly took care of that. But they couldn’t with Tae Sumi because she is an intelligent woman she knows how to deal with this cause of her family.

Her father is police chief and her mother is a hospital director her brothers are also in powerful position so my parents couldn’t get rid of her.

Rowan Hayes is now the owner of the second best Law farm. It took him almost four years we believe in one or two years he'll be at top. His all hard work has now gave him a sweet result.

And me, the project I worked on day and night has finally brought a huge success that the news broke out internationally. The most happiest person is my uncle who couldn’t be more proud on me that old man had been so proud of me that he came there and hugged me and told me he was proud of me.

He gave me the earrings that he brought from the auction spending millions on it as my 21 birthday gift.

Not only him Rowan and Sumi also came to celebrate my birthday that I never remember.

I took a week off to spend some time with them it was a great time indeed.

"WELCOME HOME MISS CEO!!!!!"

I gasped looking at the people infront me, confetti rain over us. They cheer up

Rowan, my uncle, Sumi, my butler all standing with huge smile on their face. Even my grampy uncle also had a smile on his face. I swear if anyone from work would seen him smile they would have faint.

"Welcome back Miss rich bitch CEO." Rowan whispers as he hugged me.

"I'm curious who much you earn now,,,, shit... Congratulations y/nie. You are literally the gossip in the town." Sumi said as she hugged me.

My butler look at me smiled and said, "Congratulations miss on your success. Why don't you fresh up I'll arrange the lunch."

I nodded, Rowan and Sumi followed him to ask more things about flower plants... They love my butler for growing those.

I went over uncle who gladly took me in his arms. I sigh, I was exhausted due to journey and work but now I feel happy soooo happy. My uncle placed a kiss on my head and said,"You make me so proud my kid."

I swear if this hasn’t brought tears to my eyes. I pushed back my tears.

"Why you are not my dad?" I didn’t realize that I said it loud till I saw my uncle's eyes turned soft looking at me like I'm a five year kid.

"Doesn’t matter, you are my kid." he said, I saw tears gathered in corner of his eyes. I snuggled in his chest a few tears fall from my eyes. This is probably the second time I'm crying after I was reborn.

I've always complained about everything. Now I want to thank you for giving me a second chance. For giving me a dad. So, this is how it felt to have a dad. I don’t think I have anything else to ask for.

I've a dad now, friend, money, reputation and people who actually care about me.

I'm thankful.
