you are part of the crew as Luffy handler aka you keep an eye on Luffy so he doesn't do anything too bad or get into so much trouble.

(M/N) POV

I was walking around the Thousand Sunny enjoying the morning with a hot cup of coffee in my hand. it was peaceful as it is most days but I knew that when Luffy was up it was going to get loud and chaotic.

as I took a sip of coffee I heard my goofy boyfriend laughing at a trick that Usopp did, I smiled at them seeing that it was calm for now so I was going to enjoy it while I could "(M/N)!~" Luffy shouted as he stretched out and hugged me wrapping his arms and legs around me as I moved the cup out of the way so it didn't spill "how are you captain?" I asked as he smiled "you know you can call me by my nickname" "which one? the one I call you in front of others or when we are alone?" I asked causing him to blush as I smirked but I kissed his cheek "alright love, you win" I said making him chuckle as he smiled at me.

Sanji got food ready for us and we went to eat. i placed Luffy in my lap holding him in place by his waist so he couldn't climb onto the table while eating, I gave him a few head kisses which always seemed to calm him down as we all ate with Luffy only stealing a few pieces of food but not stealing everyone's meal.

i stayed seated with Luffy in my lap as I finished off my coffee while Luffy had milk, I couldn't help but think that he was a like a little kid but that wouldn't be far off from when they first met.

(M/N) was a part of Shank's crew until they got to an island for him to live on until he was old enough. he went to the bar with Shanks and that is where he met Luffy then his brothers. they all became friends and Luffy was stuck to me like glue, I'm not joking either, he would wrap himself around me so much that they would have to pry him off of me when I needed to go somewhere.

we started dating when we were still on the going mary figuring out that our feelings for each other was more then just friends. the others were more then happy that you are together but Nami got a pay out with them betting on when we would get together, I hated her for it but I couldn't help but to laugh.

we walked out onto deck and I let go of Luffy letting him go off and do whatever he wanted as I sat down and read a book I wanted to read. i glanced up every so often to make sure that he isn't going to do something that would hurt himself or the others.

i talked with Robin about what we were reading when I heard Luffy and the others shouting making me sigh as Robin giggled. i looked up and saw that Luffy was messing around on the railing dancing while clapping his hands over his head making me smile seeing him have fun until he tripped making Usopp and Chopper to shout in shock as he fell into the sea. 

i got worried and ran over to them seeing him hit the water so I jumped in to get him, I swam down to him as he let out a bunch of bubbles. i grabbed onto him and swam up to the surface gasping for air as the others were worried about us "care to throw down a rope?" I asked causing them to run around as Luffy smiled at me "I knew you would come to my rescue" he said causing me to roll my eyes "I can't have my captain and boyfriend drowning on me but if you did that just so I could save you then you aren't getting any cuddles later on tonight" I said making him upset "I didn't do it on purpose! i was just messing around and I slipped!" he shouted as I hummed grabbing the ladder that was dropped down for me to climb back up as Luffy clung to me saying that he was messing around not wanting to lose his cuddles for the day.

we got back on deck and we were given towels as Luffy clung to me so I sighed and kissed his forehead letting him know that I believe him as he sunk more into me.

we both got dried up and I held Luffy close to me as he took a nap on top of me, I was reading my book in peace petting his head as his hat laid on his back. i looked down at him seeing that he was just melting into me more and I couldn't help but to smile seeing it as I kissed his head only to hear giggling coming from Nami and Robin but I rolled my eyes enjoying the peaceful moment I had with my boyfriend in my arms.
