Dio POV

i was walking around my manor wondering where my beloved was. he was normally in the living room relaxing but i haven't found him there.

i had a look around the whole of the manor and i couldn't find him making me worry about him as he shouldn't be outside as it was daylight out and i didn't want him to get hurt.

i walked into his study, the only place that i didn't look in and i couldn't help but to smile at what i saw.

i saw him leaned the desk crossing his arms to cushion his head as a cat was lying next to him. one of the few cats that he took in because he couldn't leave them outside after finding them abandoned on the streets, he may have turned into a vampire like how i did but he always had a soft spot for animals so much so he was trying to see if he could change the cats he brought in to be vampires as well but we haven't figured that out yet.

i walked over to (M/N) as he was still asleep at his desk. the cat next to him looked up at me as i smiled petting the cat as it leaned into my touch.

i walked around to his side and gently sat him up, he looked so peaceful sleeping like this but it must of been uncomfortable for him to sleep like that so i carefully picked him up holding him close to me in a bridal hold. 

i walked out of his study and started to walk down the halls with the cat following closely behind him. i continued to walk to our room and by the time i walked there 5 cats were following behind me and i couldn't but to chuckle seeing them all. they really did fall in love with (M/N) so much so that they want to be close to him.

i walked over to the bed and removed his shoes putting them to the side and laid him down removing his vest as he sighed relaxing into the covers as i smiled at him.

i knelt down next to him and watched him sleep as the cats moved around him curling up and falling to sleep as well. he looked so peaceful sleeping like he was still human, he was still so beautiful back then and he still looks as beautiful now, even more so now that he will be like this with me as my king.

i stood up and walked around the bed taking off my shoes as well before climbing into bed with him. i moved close to him wrapping my arms around his waist as he smiled moving closer to me as i smiled holding him close to me just feeling his presence close to mine made me feel happy. i closed my eyes and remembered what happened so many years ago

i was resentful for so many years because of the joestars but i wouldn't have been able to meet (M/N) without their help. he was the only one who stuck by me and made me feel like i was the same as him and understood the pain i was going through and did not treat me like i was just a lowly peasent or a charity case for people to pity, he tried me like i was a friend that he had known for years with so much warmth that he melted my icy cold heart to love him.

i professed my love to him and he accepted admitting that he loved me back when we were starting to get to know each other. even when i turned into a vampire with that mask he wanted to stay by my side no matter what and the night he turned i couldn't help but fall even more in love with him than at that moment.

i kept him close to me after that making sure that none of the other vampires would get close to him unless i promoted it. (M/N) is my angel and i won't have anything happen to him.
