Chapter 19:Right Call?

"I think this is a new start" Kiara stated as she loaded some of their luggage into  the boot of the velichles. "Yeah after watching Andrea burying her little sister I am not so sure" Ilene muttered making Kiara pout. "Yes it was tragic but we all need a new start and besides we might be able to save Jim if we go to the CDC" Kiara stated optimistically as she closed the boot.

"With all do Respect K, I doubt the CDC will be running" Kiara sighs crossing her arms in frustration and with a sad pout. "Would you stop being such a pessimist?" Hunter questioned  having the exact same thought as Kiara . "Just stating the obvious though besides if you expect disappointment you won't be dissaoointment." Kiara admired Ilene in so many perspectives and yet sometimes she couldn't help but disagree with her. "Well that sounds a bit depressing" Kiara added as Rick voice echoed getting everyone attention.Shane accompanied the man making it clear both of them were in charge.

"Those of you with CBs we are going to be on channel, 40.Let's keep the chatter down, okay?" Shane explained as Kiara stared holes into the man. She never disliked someone more in her life. At that moment she couldn't help but think that he had a very punchable face.

"If any of you have a problem with the CBs honk your horn one time and we will stop" Hunter scoffs as he leans closer to Ilene. "I thought he said we had to be quiet ?" Hunter whispered as Ilene nodded. "He did but it seems he is what we call'idiotic'" Hunter smiles smugly amused by his sister attitude as they continue to listen to Shane 's ranting

"Any of you have a question?" Morales raises his up with hesitant. "We are not going... We talked and we thought its best we part ways" Morales declared as the group came to look at the family of four in surprise. "Are you sure?" Rick broke the silence as Morales nods.

"Yeah. I have to do what's right for my family. We have some people in baminhman. We need to be with our people" Morales wife interject whilst she held both her children close to her.

Rick nods as he takes a gun 347 and Shane a box half full of bullets. "Here this will hold you out for quite some time" Morales takes the gun and bullets and thanks the duo. Lori steps in as she starts to say goodbye to Morales family. Starting with his wife and kids and soon everybody followed soon after. Saying their goodbyes to the small family.

"Remember if you change your minds to contact channel 40"Rick reminded as morales nodded thankful as he and his family got in their velichle.

" What let's you think our chances are better? "Kiara 's head snaps to Shane who eyed her father as though her father was the idiot in their story." Atleast my dad wants something better for our group. What have you done so far except for complaining and... "Rick places his hand on his daughter shoulder stopping her from continuing ." Kiara it's fine. Everyone is aloud to have their own opinions "Kiara gaze softens as she comes to look at her father." I know, but.. I don't like the way Shane talks down upon you"Kiara stated as she came to look at Shane with a hardened gaze. Shanes eyes widen in surprise at Kiara honesty and bluntness that was so different from how she usually is.

"Kiara I am sure that's not what Shane is doing..... Right Shane?" Shane nods. "Your father is my best friend and you know that" Lori steps in clearly not as blind as her husband. Lori knew the distaste Kiara had for Shane and the thing was she couldn't blame her daughter for it. Lori sometimes wished she never meet Shane in the first place.

"Why dont we get going, mmm?" Kiara sighs. "OK, but I think I am going to be in RV. I promised Jackie I will help her take care of Jim" Lori nods smiling softly. She didn't seem too surprise. Kiara always seem to help others even if it was not necessary at times.

"OK you be safe OK?" Kiara nods as she makes her way to the RV. Everyone got in their cars. Sophia, Carol, Carl, Lori and Rick used the Peletiers car that was a 1979 Jeep Cherokee SJ. The followed after the RV where the Glenn brothers, Enzo Grimes, Kiara Grimes, Hunter Peletier, Dale, Ilene, Jackie and Jim consisted in.
