Maira's POV:
After coming from college, I had lunch, offered my prayers then slept for 30 minutes only. I woke up and offered Asr prayers and then went through the lecture notes of today. Then after Maghrib prayers, I spent time with my family. We watched a movie and ate dinner. It was around 12 that we all retired to our rooms.
I left my phone in my room. So after I came to my room I picked up my phone and saw a message from the same unknown number. It was Zaviyaar.
"I want to talk to you." he had messaged. There was something so intimidating about him even on text. " Yes sure, go ahead" I replied.
"Be my girlfriend. " the text said.
I was left dumbstruck. It was the first time someone asked me to be their girlfriend. And that too in such a weird way. It was totally unexpected. But the one thing I was so sure of was that I didn't want a boyfriend. I don't want to get involved in a relationship and especially not with someone whom I don't even know.
"This cannot happen."I replied very straightforwardly.
"Why not?" He replied.
"I have a very over protective family. Relationships are something I don't want to get involved in. It will cause me unnecessary problems. I hope you understand ." I told him.
"So you're rejecting me?" He texted.
"Think of it as whatever you want but I can not be involved in relationships. It's wrong. As per religion and If my family finds out about it, It will be the last day of me and even you." I told him truthfully.
" Atleast meet me once. We'll go out for lunch. We'll get to know eachother and maybe your stance will change." He said.
Is he totally crazy? Bhaar main jaye college ke trustee ka beta, yeh aadmi dimaaghi tor pe khiska huwa hai kiya? Ek dafa mana kiya tou samajh kyun nahi araha issey.

After sending this text, I blocked him. Turned off my phone and slept.
