i didn't plan to upload today, but since it's her birthday... how could anyone resist? 👑

In just a matter of moments, Erin found herself in the backseat of an old, traditional cab, accompanied by a stunning woman whose hand casually rested on her thigh.

The driver had been given directions to an eastern route, to a place Alexia assured was a delightful choice.

Yearning to escape the hotel's confines, Erin hoped that venturing into the unfamiliar might trigger her memory, unraveling the events of last night's blackout.

Blackout.

A void of recollection persisted.

She still remembered nothing. Absolutely nothing.

The athlete's gentle, reassuring circles on the delicate fabric of her white dress had Erin inhaling slowly.

Her breathing was heavy.

The heartbeat rapid.

Though the events of last night remained elusive, the touch was strangely comforting and familiar and, paired with the soft and serene expression on Alexia's flawless visage, Erin couldn't help but revel in the two time Ballon D'Or winners presence.

"I hope you'll enjoy the dinner at this restaurant. My sister, Alba, recommended it when I spoke to her earlier," the brunette rambled, breaking the comfortable silence as the driver navigated the traditional cab down the road.

"I'll have to trust your choice," Erin replied, observing closely as the driver turned right, departing from the main road and following a narrow path that resembled more of a dirt track.

Nestled into the plush embrace of the cab's leather seats, the slender blonde allowed her eyes to flutter shut, finding solace in the gentle warmth of Alexia's hand now entwined with hers.

The power that touch held.

In that quiet moment, a haven of comfort and security, the blonde reveled in sensations she had missed for quite some time.

And the tender hold of Alexia's touch lingered, but when the cab swayed abruptly, Erin's eyes fluttered open.

Out of the nowhere, before them stretched a breathtaking panorama that drew a soft "Wow" from the blonde's delicate lips.

The full moon stood sentinel over the island, casting its silver glow on the now calm, pitch black sea, while the beach lay undisturbed, with only the rhythmic lapping of water against the shore and the distant hum of a boat's engine breaking the silence.

"Bonita," Alexia's smile accompanied the cab's halt, the captain releasing her hand and circled the car, opening the door on the other side.

Exiting the cab, Erin's gaze fixated on the boat, where a trio of crew members awaited them.

"What kind of place is this?" she wondered aloud, allowing Alexia to guide her.

The boat looked luxurious and inviting, and as they stepped onto the cold sand, the blonde felt the grains tickle her toes.

"As I mentioned, there's only one opportunity to leave a first impression, and I plan to make the most of it," Alexia explained with a smoldering expression as she lead the way towards the boat.

"Quite the way for a first impression," Erin smirked, giving the captains hand a gentle squeeze as they ambled along the sandy beach.

"Believe it or not, last night, you shared your desire for a date just like this," the two time Ballon D'Or winner disclosed, her arm finding a snug spot around the blonde's slender waist. "So, when you left the gym earlier, I made a few calls to ensure we wouldn't miss out on it."

The revelation prompted Erin to stop abruptly.

"I... really said that?" she inquired, her eyes darting between the boat and those captivating, sparkling hazel eyes.

The power those eyes held.

Alexia nodded, the softest of smiles forming on her tender lips, "Sí," she whispered.

"Wow, I never thought my tipsy self would conjure up such sophisticated date ideas. It's intriguing what my brain can produce with a bit of alcohol," Erin chuckled, amused by her own musings as they reached the boat.

"Actually... I doubt that you were drunk, Bonita" Alexia began, nonchalantly shrugging her shoulders as they ascended the stairs toward the awaiting vessel.

But her voice fainted, the sea breeze playing with their hair as the soft glow of candles flickered on the boat's deck, casting a romantic ambiance, and the boat gently rocked with the rhythm of the water beneath.

"Welcome aboard, Alexia, Miss Erin," greeted the captain of the boat, extending a warm welcome that matched the atmosphere.

He led them to the only table on the boat, covered in an elegant white tablecloth adorned with candles, creating a soft, intimate glow. A dimmed light hung overhead, adding to the romantic setting.

This truly was perfection.

They took their seats, and Erin couldn't help but admire the beautifully set table and the selection on the menu, a testament to the chef's expertise.

Noticing Erin's curiosity, the brunette smiled, "The chef has prepared a fine selection for us tonight. I hope you enjoy it."

As the soft music played in the background, their waiter approached, pouring water into delicate glasses.

Erin's gaze lingered on the menu, but her mind was preoccupied with Alexia's earlier revelation.

"You're distracted..." the midfielder observed, a knowing glint in her hazel eyes.

With a nod, the blonde sighed, closing the menu.

"I can't help but wonder about what you just said, about doubting I was drunk last night. What did you mean by that?"

Alexia took a graceful sip from her glass of exquisite white wine, swirling it around as she delicately considered Erin's inquiry, while the soft glow of the moon danced on the water, creating ripples of light.

"You did have a fair amount to drink last night," the captain began, her hazel eyes meeting Erin's with sincerity. "But it wasn't enough to black out. I wouldn't have taken you to my room if I thought you were that drunk."

Furrowing an eyebrow, the blonde absorbed the information.

It seemed her memory loss wasn't merely a result of overindulgence.

"I did think about it all day and... I believe it was the guy at the bar," Alexia continued, her voice carrying a calm certainty. "He persisted in making you uncomfortable throughout the night, and... my guess is that he might have tampered with your drink, resulting the blackout."
